Lovely stay at the Malthouse. Excellent value for money. Suite for the price of a room. Friendly staff. Nice pub and food. Unrivaled location. Parking onsite not guaranteed. But there was room in the small staff area for us. Paid parking nearby. Birthplace of the industrial revolution and the world famous iron bridge within minuts walk. Plenty of museums and pubs in the local area. Pretty valley and river severn.

Easy check in, friendly and helpful staff. Our stay at the Malthouse was excellent. The breakfast was huge and I would recommend eating here of an evening too as the evening menu is also excellent

Really good. Spacious. Good value for money, Apparently the owners have just taken over the Suite property and will be redecorating it shortly - a few bits here and there but it didn't seem *that* tired to us. Food was great!

We arrived at the malthouse and went into the bar for a simple checkin . The room was clean and tidy . There is a side bar which had a live band on the night we stayed. We woke the next morning to a great full English breakfast you could have small or large. It was a small walk into Ironbridge .

Really helpful assistant manager Greg. Made sure everything was as needed. I phoned in advance to check we had a ground floor room that was done. Confusion over paying for breakfast that was sorted as the hotel did not have the correct information. Nothing too much trouble.We were given the lounge suite in a private courtyard very pleasant plenty of room and a large shower and bathroom. Decoration eccentric, but we are conventional! Needs some refurbishment but the important parts were in a good state. The food at the Malthouse is excellent great evening meal and a very well cooked breakfast with so much choice, far better than standard hotel buffets. The coffee was excellent. Value for money , couldn’t fault it. Easy parking and right in the middle is all Ironbridge attractions. Will return again, after school are over! Thank you to all the very pleasant staff who made our stay a pleasure.

We were lucky enough to have a room with its own courtyard, a real bonus on a hot bank holiday weekend. The rooms are quirky and certainly raise a smile. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money, we will definitely be back. Couple of minor tweeks - nothing other reviewers have not mentioned. Darker curtains and a blind on the door would be a real help, as the light shines in very early during the spring and summer months (we even resorted to putting the bin over the light in the garden at night, to prevent the room being lit up.) Shower tiles could also do with a good clean. Other than that a great stay. On our check out day, our car battery was dead, one of the staff contacted her husband to come and help us out - above and beyond. Many, many thanks

Very popular, food choices limited but good, great breakfast. Accommodation comfortable, great location. We stayed on a Friday when there was live entertainment which was fantastic. Would definitely return
