We spent several days at the Aspen Hotel in Soldotna recharging during a 5-week long trip through Alaska, and it was the perfect location for this. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the staff awesome. Their laundry machines were excellent and they were right by a walking trail, so we could get some exercise. Soldotna has a couple of chain supermarkets and a Walgreens, so we were able to replenish supplies, and also offers some non-touristy, healthy choice restaurants, so we were able to replenish our bodies, as well.

I loved the affordability and ability to bring my dog. The walking grounds for the dogs were clean. The room was clean being a pet room. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Nice hotel with VERY comfortable bed and room. Located on the Kenai River with a very nice raised walking path along the river, accessed at the end of the hotel and going to the park and brewery.

I had a very quiet stay there recently, was in Alaska to see my ill father, but it was also nice that there was a grocery store, etc., located nearby that I could walk to. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. I'll give them a 10 for my stay.
