From the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming and wonderful. Our room 831 was amazing and had a breathtaking view over the whole pool and ocean area. We felt incredibly lucky to get this room and all it's features and view. The sounds of the ocean and birds and happy people enjoying vacation added to the joy of out vacation. Grandkids loved swimming in the beautiful pool at night til 10 pm. Everything on the property was clean and the landscaping beautiful. Housekeeping brought us all the extras we asked for promptly too. All the flooding plants were in full bloom early July. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

I’ve been to Maui 26 times and have stayed at so many hotels including the very expensive ones, to the condos all over Maui. THIS hotel has been my absolute favorite thus far!!! We had a beautiful 1 bedroom (large) condo that looked over the gorgeous grounds and the ocean! Everything was so amazing and I’m so grateful I chose this hotel for my 40th birthday!! Perfect location, you can walk to the ABC store, food trucks and more. The pools are stunning and the beach is amazing! Plenty of sand to lay on and it’s a great place to snorkel. You can rent chairs right on the premises and snorkels as well. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this hotel and our experience. I can’t wait to stay there again!

We stayed in a 2bdrm ocean front suite and it was perfect! The suit was very clean and the view was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset! The staff were very friendly and super helpful. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant. Not a ton of options but what they did have was good. Loved the ease of getting pool/beach towels and snorkel/boogyboard rentals. We saw countless sea turtles and a monk seal came up on the beach one morning. If we come back to Maui we would absolutely stay here again. You can not beat the price for what you get!!!

Aston Kāʻanapali Shores is a well-located oceanfront resort in West Maui with easy beach and dining access. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, many with full kitchens and ocean views. Great location. Resort was nice and very clean, helpful staff and multiple shops to easily stop by for misc things like drinks/snacks as well as souvenirs or gifts. They also had multiple events through out the week, my favorite was when they had local artists/crafters on site. The two pools were nice and we enjoyed going to both, the on site restaurant had great meals and service (breakfast or dinner).
