Ocean front hot tub was a real treat, balcony with director chairs overlooking the coastline was delightful, direct access to the beach and tide pools was so inviting -- all in a very chill northern CA get away -- what else can you ask for!

The room was excellent open the door and the sea is at your feet. The challenge is getting to it was intense driving but scenic. The bed and pillows was extremely comfortable. They need a better sign from the parking lot to tell you you are there otherwise its the white building on the right with small sign on the building.

We stayed in room one. The rental was beautifully decorated and much larger than we expected. The view from all of the windows was stunning!! We slept like babies with the soothing sound of the waves outside.

Location, location, location! This place is all about its beautiful ocean views and the sound of the surf. We are already talking about when we can come back. We had concerns about the check in since it was all online and coverage in that area is poor, but we finally found a spot where we could download the email and got the entry code, so it worked out.

Beautiful room in a great location with a breathtaking view! Excellent communication with reservation team. Onsite team was friendly and helpful. Would love to return again! One note, my friend that came along felt the bed was too firm and it really bothered her back. I did not have the same issue. But those that have back issues may want to check ahead. Room 6 has firm mattresses. And very snuggly warm comforters! Loved the stay here.

I love this place. I would move into this property and never leave if i could afford it. If stairs arent a problem for you get a room with a balcony. Sunsets are amazing.

Property was amazing. Communication was not; they kept telling us 30 min to get in at 1:30- (we got in at 345) We would have preferred them to say go about your day and we will contact you instead of waiting for hours. Otherwise it was a lovely unit and location.

The incredible view of the ocean slamming against the rocks required an afternoon happy hour everyday on the balcony. Whenever we return to Black Sands Inn, it will not be soon enough. What a secret getaway of solitude and beauty that only few know about.
