My wife and I are eager to return next year. Black Tree Retreat was wonderful. The staff, including the owner, was friendly, approachable, and extremely effective. The tent was comfortably furnished, with a small sofa and two queen beds that were oh so soft and warm. Solar-powered lights provided light at night, and they even provided a lantern for walks or trips to the bathroom. When it comes to the bathroom, wow. You are assigned your own private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink with vanity. They have luxurious towels, high-end toiletries, and a hair dryer. There is no outside bathroom trailer near your tent. Toilet flushing and running water in the sink are included in the room. Firewood is supplied in your tent to use in the wood stove within the tent. There are gas fire pits to toast marshmallows. The food was delicious! You order in advance, but I was allowed to change my order the previous day, so don't be afraid of that. The food is delivered hot and fresh to your tent. A quick radio call to reception will deliver beverages throughout the day. I strongly recommend the fajitas and margaritas. Every day, deer came to our site, which only added to the experience. I do want to mention that when you are at your tent site, you will likely be disconnected to the internet and cell phone service. That

We really enjoyed staying at Black Tree Resort. The accommodation is great, the room has a private bathroom and the bed is very comfortable. Despite being remote, we felt that it was private and easy to reach the bar team for anything. We brought our dog and he had a wonderful time. Food is great. A really impressive place to spend a few days in nature for someone who can't handle real camping.

Our family has volunteered a fair bit while camping extensively over the years, but this time, we simply wanted to relax. That call was answered by the black tree resort. The location is stunning, but they thought of anything. For instance, there is a wood stove in the tent to keep you warm at night. You are given a few little bags of fire starters, rightsized kindling, and logs. They make it so simple to do everything! This resort allows you to experience the outdoors without carrying all your equipment, from the easystart gas firepits to the cozy beds, from the solarpowered lights to the luxurious bathrooms. Sitting around the fire pit with our family was peaceful and restorative. Without a discussion of the food, a review of Black Tree Resort would not begin without a discussion of the cuisine. Your group selects the meals that will be served onsite a short time before arrival. Everything was fantastic. We chose the bag lunch during our days away from the resort, but the other two meals breakfast and dinner are delivered directly to your tent! We enjoyed fajitas and burgers, as well as a variety of delicious brunch options. Again, all of the details were so well thought out that they even had frosted mugs for our drinks. Luxurious, indeed. Sincerely, I was really excited about Black Tree Resort, the place, and the

In late August 2021, with our two children, ages 5 and 7, we stayed at the bar. We were the only two groups staying there because school in Co had already begun, and it was midweek. The bar's service was consistently excellent from the beginning. The campsite and tent were both fantastic, and my kids were delighted to obtain our own golf cart. The outside is lit by a gas stove, making it simple to turn on and off, and it is cozy, particularly in the morning. Particularly for the grownups, I liked the clean, private bathrooms where we could shower. We hiked, explored the property, and utilized all the games they had stocked at the main house. The cuisine was exceptional and always delivered on schedule, which is critical for cranky children. We had some of the nicest salmon and stir-fried rice I've ever had. For the dessert, we had warm chocolate chip cookies, which my children could not stop thinking about. My daughter made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich because they knew she wouldn't eat it when she once refused to eat it. The beds were really comfy and comfortable. We would most definitely have completed some of the excursions if our children had been a little older. At times, they became quite agitated, but this was part of the goal of unplug and take in this gorgeous setting! My son and I took him to
