All was very good...clean, roomy, quiet, comfortable bed, etc. Great pool. Quite large. Breakfast was the usual. Wasn't crazy about biscuits and gravy as meat item.

When we first arrived, I was a little more than underwhelmed but after recharging from the long drive and getting my bearings, I couldn’t have possibly enjoyed my stay there anymore. The hotel was older but extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. The shower was nice and hot and powerful. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. The free breakfast got us fueled for the start of our day. My daughter enjoyed the pool every night making friends with the other kids there. The mini fridge was perfect to keep our lunch fixings cold and the little freezer compartment kept our ice packs frozen. It was located in a very convenient location to downtown Munising - which is an absolute gem- and to the attractions. We kayaked, visited several beaches and checked out several trails including Chapel Loop. I’m a single mom with two kids on a limited income and I am grateful for a safe and clean place to stay so my kids and I could enjoy a family vacation. Thank you for running a clean hotel at an affordable price. We will have memories to last a lifetime.

First, let me say how pleasant the staff was. Everyone from the front desk attendant to the breakfast manager, was happy, ready to serve and patient to answer questions and concerns. My room was spotless with just one exception. There was a small basin left on our bathroom vanity and when I brought it to the front desk, I was told it was for quests to clean their own items such as motorcycles. I’m not sure that was what it was because the cloths were wet and already used but I decided it wasn’t anything to be upset over. Also, our bathroom door was not hung properly because it would not close completely. Breakfast was skimpy but sufficient, and to be fair, I was late to breakfast, made it to the breakfast room at 9:00. The hot tub was spotless and sparkling with plenty of pool towels available. Overall, this was a wonderful hotel with friendly professional staff and I would definitely stay here again!
