The room was very clean the bathrooms were very clean also. The room is very big and ample and comfortable. The location is wonderful because you are within walking distance of Ocean Avenue with all the shops and restaurants. Also very close you can walk down to the beach and enjoy the beautiful views and scenery

The property itself is charming and has some nice garden areas, as shown on the website. We had a large deluxe room with king bed and a fireplace on the top foor with a balcony and ocean view. The inn itself is older, but the bathroom has been updated. If you like soft not firm beds, you’ll love it, like sleeping on a cloud. The property is exceptionally clean inside and out and staff is helpful. Breakfast was typical continental with eggs, but don’t be late as they may run out. Enjoy your stay.

It is an older hotel, but rooms were well maintained and very clean. Parking was tight but always found a spot. The pool was warm for the cool mornings. The breakfast buffet was good. Particularly the bakery. All staff members that I encountered during my entire visit were helpful, friendly, caring and courteous. The location is amazing for walking the downtown area. I for sure would book here again. My other family members who met us there, agreed. They too will book there again.

I think we've stayed here 6 or 7 times now. For us, the best value in Carmel. The place is clean, comfortable rooms with gas fireplaces, really clean, has pool, nice landscaping, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Located right next to a market, where you can pick up supplies, plus local wine and beer, and a sandwich to take to the beach. Steps away from great bars, restaurants, and shops. We usually walk everywhere. Will be back in a few months.
