The staff was very kind, welcoming, and informative, and our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. However, because there is no air conditioning, the room really needed a fan—especially when traveling in July. At the very least, ceiling fans would make a big difference during the warmer months. Breakfast was a nice perk, but it could definitely be improved by offering a larger variety of food. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but a few small upgrades would make the experience even better.

They do offer breakfast which is nice. However, they do close the pool way too early.

We enjoyed our stay here. The shower pressure was great, the sheets were clean, and the staff was friendly. Only con is that the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors on top and to the side of you

Carmel Bay View Inn was an excellent place to stay! The staff starting from the front desk to all staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful! When we asked for extra pillows or towels the response was prompt and cheerful. The room was very clean, well appointed, and the view was impressive! Parking availability was easy, well lighted, and provided close access to our room. Located where easy walking to shops, restaurants, and a wonderful Deli/Grocery Market right by the Inn! Easy to find as you drive into Carmel. Highly recommend the Carmel Bay View Inn as we were able to book quickly and was a great value!!

We had a short visit and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was lovely and the gardens were beautiful. Rhe breakfast was excellent and well maintained. The pool hours were not posted and I tried to go for a morning swim but the pool was locked. The location is ideal for walking around Carmel.
