I was traveling with my children and dogs, they had a great area for both the kids and the dogs at the end of a long day in Branson. The hotel is very close to Silver Dollar City and a Walmart which was convenient with the kids. The hotel has a pool with a waterslide with plenty of other kids to play in and a playground. We noticed other families grilling dinner by the pool and hot tub area which, was well maintained. They have a large area to walk the dogs as well. The staff was very helpful and accommodating even after hours when we were locked out of our room. This also might be a good place for long term renters.

Nice size rooms. Even with two queen beds there was ample room for a small table and 2 chairs. The made to order breakfast was quite a treat. We go to Branson frequently and never knew this hotel was that close. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others as it was an excellent value for the price.

Although I checked other hotels in order to stay as close to my family as possible, I'm very glad they were all booked and I stayed at Colonial Mountain. It may be an older hotel, but they did a great job at keeping the rooms up to date, very clean and fresh smelling. It's right on 76 and just off the 13 intersection, so it puts you in the perfect location to anywhere you want to go and only 2 minutes from a Walmart if you need anything. I noticed that a lot of families with children stayed at the hotel and there was never a time I didn't feel safe. They have an area for the kids to play, so that was good to see. The hot breakfast that comes with your stay is better than any continental breakfast I've seen. The hot biscuits & gravy and sausage is fab enough on the buffet table, but they offer made to order omelets so you can't get better than that at a hotel. All the staff was super nice and always asking if you need anything. A very refreshing change.

We decided that end of Spring Break to head out of town. Didn't think since we were just staying one night we would really need to reserve a room in Branson, Mo. Got to town and couldn't find anything, until I jumped on Expedia and found and booked Colonial Mountain Inn. It was wonderful, from the gentleman that checked us in, to the home cooked breakfast before leaving. We be back and I have told everyone about it when ever talking about our trip.

We will definitely be back to this hotel in the near future. Very nice, clean, and quiet update room. The bed was really comfortable, too. They are minutes from Silver Dollar City.
