After a long drive from Florida, my daughter and I just wanted a nice quiet, cool, and clean room to crash in. Colts Neck Inn exceeded our expectations. We spent four nights and were sorry to leave. Its quiet country setting is perfect for relaxing and there are plenty of places to dine close by. If you’re looking to get away from the hectic beach scene without being too far away, Colts Neck Inn is a perfect spot for you!

Clean room, nice roomy accommodations, polite staff, air conditioning, there was a good continental breakfast. The elevator was great to have to take up suitcases. There were outdoor seating areas near fire pits and also a separate building with a bar and restaurant next door if needed. They supplied easy food to make on your own like frozen waffles, bread, and muffins, pasties with toasters, but no syrup. Jelly and butter was served. It was bountiful and supplied well in a nice dining area with vending machines and a coffee/tea bar and also Juice, fruit, oatmeal packets, fixings, hot water. We visited the the local winery.

This is my second consecutive year staying here. I will definitely be back next year. The room was cooled with the A/C upon my arrival. Normally rooms are hot and stuffy. The Staff is so friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely clean and they always leave a Rose in a small vase in the room, adds a comfy touch. The place gives off a bed and breakfast relaxing type atmosphere. They have mints and dumdum lollipops in the hallway. This is one of my favorite places to stay. I highly recommend them.

The Inn was a perfect choice for our fishing trip. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Anything we needed the staff was there to help. The area was very convenient a great restaurant just up the road and a great little shopping center around the corner, a drug store, and a deli too. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel itself was clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the luxury vinyl floors in the room instead of carpet! The staff was wonderful and provided a fun and relaxing stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel in the Colts Neck area!!!!

I enjoyed the historical feel of the property, the hotel was very clean, quiet at night, we had a good night sleep! The window air conditioners worked great, it was 100 degrees and the rooms were cool and comfortable. The continental breakfast was convenient. We loved the coffee, fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to the bakery items! Also, a less than 30 min drive to the Jersey Shore! Definitely would stay here again!

If you are looking for comfort mixed with a bit of history this is your stay. The building is well maintained while still keeping the historic feel. Plenty of parking and even though it is off a major road for ease of access it is set back enough and surrounded by trees to still provide a sense of privacy. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and clean. The bathroom was large and water pressure was excellent. Bedding is very soft and comfortable and even the towels which in most hotels feel like sandpaper were soft and plentiful. The rooms are air conditioned but with window air so can be loud and distracting but do keep the rooms cool. The WiFi can be a little spotty if you are trying to stream. I would definitely stay here again.

I don't like the situation with the person in charge of breakfast; she’s a lady—I think she’s African American—who talks a lot of nonsense. She told me that a guest, , was rude to her because she was frustrated that there were no rooms available. She ended up calling a taxi and started criticizing the woman, calling her crazy; honestly, I don't like the way she belittles others—she’s always just sitting there talking front desk lady. They really ought to hire someone else to handle breakfast. So you guys will have better guests, you know, because she's told me that she's lazy. She's not gonna do all of that breakfast stuff; it’s truly ridiculous.

Nice old historic Inn.Really enjoyed our stay.It was an easy check in.Our room was ready & it was nice & cool as it was a 100* outside. The bed was very comfortable. Nice basic breakfast in the morning. Excellent coffee We had a couple drinks at the local pub down the road which was close by. We would stay again if in the area.
