The hotel staff and manager was very hateful and disrespectful towards me for one me being homeless and out working my butt off to make ends meet just to be able to have somewhere to sleep and have a shower and they kicked me out for not making it back before check out time to pay for the next night because of having to rely on others to get me back and fkrth from job and hotel to the the grocery store and they just told me i had to leave and was told that they would refund any remaining balance that i did have and i still have not got it back 0 out 10

When I arrived I knew it was late and the odds of someone being at the front desk weren't in my favor. When I hit the line to call for an attendant, ya boy Devonte was there without hesitation. Though he may have been tired conversely he didn't lead on to be. He was very patient with me as I was having issues with my bank card allowing online transactions and booking through a third party. He was very polite and extremely helpful and I appreciate it because I really needed the room and with his patience and assistance I got into the last available room. Thank you Devonte. The staff at this particular location are the main reason I choose extended stay America of lawerence Indiana.

Some of the guests were loud after 10:00pm. Every evening the halls reeked of marijuana. I did not report this as my stay was short. I will say Will, Sherry and domestic staff were accommodating and kind. They made me feel safe.

Wil was an absolute star the night before the eclipse. My wife and I drove down from Iowa and got there kind of late, but if it wasn't for Extended Stay's bare bones accommodations, we may not have been able to make the trip for such a historic but brief occasion. Thankfully the no frills experience is all we wanted; just a place to clean up, and a clean place to crash for the night so we could see the 2024 total eclipse with our very own, properly protected, eyes. When we got there, the lobby was swamped. I had spoken to another hotel earlier to cancel another room so we could go to Indianapolis instead, and the manager had laughed at me. I had asked if I could still cancel, and she said with all the calls she was getting to see if she still had a room open, she'd let me cancel if I called the day before. All the people had their phones out like they didn't pick the cheapest place just like the rest of us, so we figured they'd raise enough hell on their own, and looked for a brewery to get a burger. When we came back, the lobby was much less crowded, and an exhausted Wil was just finishing reading some new guests their rights. He then resolved another guest's keycard issue, and proceeded to check us in. He was very efficient and attentive, we were up to our rooms in no time. The beds were great, simple fold out things with soft/firm mattresses, felt new. Clean sheets, pillows, smelt great, slept great. Clean room and bath, AC worked great. All staff were pros!
