Enjoyed our stay at Fireside Inn. The complimentary breakfast is very minimal so if you have a morning appetite, skip it and opt for a nice breakfast in town, there are several good spots. Lots of hotels are lined up along Moonstone Beach Dr and they’re all cute as can be! A nearby restaurant is Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill which we enjoyed two nights during our stay. Wonderful staff and great food/drinks.

We love this place! We've been here before, and we'll return. The couch, the fireplace, the reading light. It's very cozy. The downside is that the heavy room doors slam a bit if you don't close them slowly, and people opening and closing doors in the hall can be a bit loud. There was also cleaning or maintenance staff talking on beeping walkie-talkies first thing in the morning, which kept waking us up. Hopefully, that was a one-off because we'd love to return. The window in one of the rooms was really hard to open. The breakfast is ok, but there's pretty much no protein. We love the raisin cake, though. All in all, a swanky place. Next time, if it's warm enough, we hope to try the outdoor pool.

The room was very clean, with a nice fireplace, and even though the weather was cool in Moonstone Beach, I thought I needed air conditioning; otherwise, the only alternatives are to turn on a fan or open the windows a bit, which makes the room noisy.

Check in was a breeze! Even if your rooms not ready, the beach is right there (can't get any better than that) and you have access to the pool if you'd like (which is heated). The room was very spacious and very tastefully decorated. Maybe add a mirror to the room itself as the bathroom is the only place with a mirror. Bed was comfortable, some signs if aging and use in the bathroom, but still clean, which is most important to me. Large TV, in room fridge, no ac, but there was no issue for us at this time. Breakfast was enough for us, pastries and coffee. Will come back

This was one of my favorite stays in all my travels. The room has a balcony out to a little stone patio. Across the street is the ocean. The property is impeccable. The decor is magnificent while not being pretentious the owner/ staff were so nice and accommodating. The town is so quaint. This place is absolutely wonderful. I would fly across the country again just to stay at The Fireside Inn.
