The staff was great. The hotel is brand new. Corporate should not have opened before everything was finished and ready for guest. Several little things were not ready for guest. Not a big deal but they added up. I would give them a few weeks to work out the kinks and finish the rooms.

The elevator was broke from day. I had to climb 3 floors with my luggage. The ice machine was broken. There's no drapes over the window, so light goes through and you can't sleep when the sun goes up.

When we arrived at the property, several people in front of were being told they had no rooms despite having reservations. We thought we were luckier as my wife and were told we had a room, though it was a single bed and not two beds as we had reserved. The clerk blamed the problem on the hotel being brand new and not quite ready for opening and, inexplicably, on the maids for not speaking English. When we went to our room we found that the air conditioner did not work (it was 95 degrees outside) and when we checked with front desk she said we had the only room left, but she would call maintenance. We never heard back. We also discovered that there was no remote for the tv, and that the shower only went from hot to warm (making it hard to use it to cool off), there was very little water pressure, and that the faucet handle came off if you pulled on it. Also the shower floor was flush with the bathroom floor and water poured onto the bathroom floor and flowed out into the room. Finally, the room was very loud. We could easily hear people talking in the lobby even though we were several doors down the hallway.
