It was a good place to stay, the rooms are clean everything works and the breakfast was clean and enjoyable to eat in. Great price for what you get, I've been to more expensive hotels and got rooms that had a lot of stuff not working.

We always stay at this motel every time we stay in Lubbock because we've always had good experiences with rodeway. Our only negative this time was that our room smelt like sewer. It smelt so bad that we got headaches from the smell.

It was the cheapest hotel in Lubbock so I expected much worse. I paid for a non-smoking room but the clerk said that would be $10 extra. When I threatened to go elsewhere she offered a non-smoking room with a queen size bed instead of a king size bed. The room still smelled like smoke. I did not complain because I was exhausted. However the next day I did smell like cigarette smoke.
