The house was GORGEOUS. Food was sooooo good. The manager was lovely, and so happy to have us. Our room was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable! Only stayed one night, but I wish we could have explored the grouds. And the price cannot be BEAT in this economy. Will stay again! PS: rumored to be haunted. And either one of the guests had a very bad sleepwalking episode, or I had an experience. So cool!

Beautiful ,historical ,Victorian style inn! Built in 1929, very clean, staff is great! We missed the breakfast buffet because we were up late from the weird Al concert. Very close to the Japanese gardens and other attractions!

Rarely does one feel they have been welcomed as if they had "come home" to a hotel or Bed & Breakfast. I have stayed in a few grander historic hotels, but never felt so at home as when my son and I stayed a few mights at The Montague Inn. It is a lovely, beautifully maintained mansion from the 1930s, almost immaculately clean, with charming and comfortable guest rooms, sitting areas, patios and gardens. My bed was especially comfortable. Yes, the hot breakfast is home-cooked and delicious. The difference is that the staff all seem to consider this to be their home, too. There is obvious pride in everyone's work, and it shows. At the same time, everyone we met was genuinely warm, unpretentious, and so gracious and kind. If ever in Saginaw again, there is no question where I will stay.

This was living in Downton Abbey for the night. It is a beautiful inn built in 1929, Our room was huge with beautiful antiques and linens; the bath was spacious and elegant. There were not many guests the night we stayed so breakfast was a modest continental offering, but it was served in a delightful breakfast room overlooking a flowered patio and gorgeous grounds. We had arrived early enough in the evening to enjoy reading in the library for few hours before bed. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Keep in mind this is a historic bed and breakfast. The inn is gorgeous, flowers, gardens, patio etc the room was smaller but more than what I needed. It’s well maintained, historic theme and decor are home like. If u want a modern polished room this is not for you. These rooms make u relax, small touches like a book on the bed, etc. the breakfast was awesome large selection. Served on real dishes in a dining room filled with China, teapots, knickknacks. The outside property allows you to wander leisurely and take in all the flowers. Peonies were in bloom on my stay. Near temple theatre in Saginaw (fabulous place!). Parking is next to inn few steps away. I enjoyed wine on the patio at night with soft lighting and flowers. Quiet.

Charming, comfy, and clean bed and breakfast with a great staff. The room was a great size that had everything you need. We had a great nights rest and woke up and had a delicious breakfast downstairs in the beautiful dining room. We will definitely be back!

The Montague Inn is an historic property that manages to continue to excel. It's an old house with a gracious stairway to the upper floors. The lack of an elevator will exclude some, but in my case, gracious staff members carried my luggage up and down with no effort on my part. The room and bed were comfortable. One caution: it's an old house and the water heater is downstairs someplace, which means that it takes a couple of minutes for the shower to get hot. The breakfast is typical hotel fare, but it's well prepared and attractively presented -- and the coffee is actually good. The grounds are attractive, and if I were several decades younger and planning a wedding and/or reception venue, this place would be "in the running" for my chosen location.

Nice and quiet historic home in downtown Saginaw. It’s our 2nd time staying here while we attend an event at the Dow. The staff is extremely polite and the breakfast has always been great.

Beautiful historic inn with wonderful staff, gorgeous rooms, and a big lovely yard. They do events and weddings, too. Hot breakfast was great! Walking distance from Saginaw Childrens Zoo, Japanese Cultural Center/Gardens. Not far from Old Town Saginaw for food/shopping. Downtown area was nice, too. Would def recommend this inn and would stay again!

The Breakfast menu was delicious. The ground of the Montague Inn are exceptional. This is the most beautiful Bed & Breakfast "Hotel" we have ever stayed in. Your every need is met. All comforts & entertainment is very close by. So much to see. We will return there time & time again. If you like to go to Mackinaw Island this is better. You have your car, but you have the most beautiful Historical stay & area. There are beautiful Victorian homes in every direction. Many in Saginaw could be revitalized & a stay at this Hotel will make you want to fall in love with one, buy it & make it your own. A step back in time you will never forget. Thank you so much to everyone who made our trip the most unforgettable ever. Love to you all & God Bless.
