Cozy comfortable room for a solo traveler this time. Only stayed overnight to drop off a family member for a summer job. Owners are awesome! Super friendly and gave great tips for local food. Clean. Great location-close to everything. Quiet at night. Highly recommend.

We had a long bed and canoe so parked next to the motel because parking was tight. There were plenty of vehicles with can use on top in the parking lot that fit. There is another vehicle with a boat attached parked next to ours. The location is convenient across from the Circle K and on Sheridan Street in Ely. This is a deal if you want to walk downtown for a meal. The room was super cute, clean, up-to-date, and comfortable. I would stay here again. The only negative was just that there was no closet so limited storage space. There was a dresser that was built into the wall that would be handy if we were staying more than one night. I enjoyed talking to the owner who had a lot of helpful tips.

This motel was one of the cleanest ones I have ever stayed at. The owners were so nice. The beds were also one f the most comfortable beds I have slept in. In fact, I inquired as to where they bought it. I'm going to have to buy one. I highly recommend this motel!

Wonderful little motel. The room was very clean, comfortable bed. It is a very small room with only one smaller table to put stuff on. Just mentioning this for couples that might stay here. If you wish to spend much time in the room it’s a bit small. But it’s Ely, most are outside much of the time. It is a nice 10 minute short walk to shops. It is also right across the road from a gas station for snacks and drinks. There is a microwave and fridge in the room which is a big plus. Was very happy with my one week stay.

In the main road of ely where all the restaurants, theatre etc are present. Rooms are clean. Owner is super friendly and helpful. She helped suggesting us with few hikes which are good in the winter/snow and also gave us food suggestions. Rooms are pretty clean and sufficient for travel days. the internet speed was very good without any issues. It’s an old motel but well maintained.

Loved Motel Ely! Super friendly/helpful proprietor offered plenty of recommendations for restaurants. Rooms are not standard modern soulless fare. Mismatched furnishings, midcentury-style mini fridges, unusual bathroom sink/toilets... but everything is spotless and functional. One of our 2 rooms had a great mural, both featured shiplap wood walls. Affordable and cozy. Also right on Sheridan St in Ely, making it easy to explore town on foot. Highly recommend.
