This is not a nice hotel at all. Picture a rehab but the people are trying to escape the clutches of a positive life experiences. You will leave with a story, and you will not be bothered in your room.

No tables, chairs. The hotel is in revamping mode. Don't understand why the accept guests in that condition. They say continental breakfast, but really don't serve.

This hotel is currently under renovations. Not ideal to stay here until they are done with the work. I'm sure it will be nice when they are done. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel was in the must of renovation. Nothing like what you see on the site. Floor stain and dirty. Haven't been vacuum or sweep in forever. Bed sheets nasty so being your own. Towels had stains on them. Good crumbs on draws and in microwave. Toilet seat coming apart so sit with caution. Shower had hair looked like someone had recently shaved. Load music throughout the night. Prostitutes everywhere. The whole experience was horrible after a 16 hour drive

Staff was friendly so no complaints there, my complaint is it's advertised as a howard johnson but it's just affiliated, its actually a norwood inn, not many amenities and needs to be updated

We got there very light at night and were immediately told by someone else there were roaches. We had traveled a long way so we decided to try it and the room had very obviously not been cleaned between the last users and us despite me having reserved the room last Monday (we stayed Friday) . We chose to sleep on top of the covers because we were exhausted. The next morning we went down for breakfast just to learn it had been closed for a while. I also requested a room service to get fresh towels and sheets. The towels took well over 2 hours and the sheets occurred sometime in the day. The name on the hotel is also Norwood Suites which confused us greatly.

The place is skanky and run down. Ripped carpet, dirty walls, the halls smell like weed and sweat. But… the room (though shabby and worn out) was relatively clean and I slept well.

I don't normally leave reviews but felt motivated after this stay. It really didn't concern me the grass hadn't been mowed by the end of April. It seems there was a recent owner/management change by the banner covering the previous sign and what looks like on going renovations inside. I was hopeful for a hotel that cost more than the others in the area.The pictures online are not indicative of the current condition nor likely what will be after "renovations". The current management is attempting to slap lipstick on a pig to freshen it up. By literally slapping paint everywhere! There is paint on almost everything that required any effort to remove or cover. I know they had masking tape because there was some left on the door handle. They chose not to use it anywhere else. The mirror and wall coverings were missing which really didn't bother me. The holes and drywall cracks were still there with no effort to repair before painting. The towel rack was ready to fall off the wall, maybe the fresh paint will hold it a little longer. I guess they didn't notice because you need to retrieve your own towels yourself from the front desk. There was nothing for the included breakfast or bottled water, so don't believe that in the amenities. If anyone from the management cares to read this and improve, use soft white bulbs in the future replacements. Anyone else, I don't know how the surrounding hotels could be much worse and good luck.

Property looks like an abandoned building. In midst of reno and should be closed due to depth of reno. Took 3 separate rooms to get one with working a/c. The building is a glorified flop house and Howard Johnson Inc should be ashamed that this Property bares the name. None of the amenities were available. Filthy both inside and out. Hallway carpet fire hazards. If I didn't have any choice I would have found another property. Unfortunately one night didn't kill me. Pictures available

Property was under construction and the room didn't even have a microwave or fridge, no water in the shower, and the hallways smelled of sewage. But the room was clean. It just was not a pleasant stay.

No breakfast despite advertising. Run down property, dirty. Some rooms window looks out to a exterior wall literally 10 ft away. Plumbing didn't work well, toilet clogged easily. Definitely skip this one. Musty smell. They should close this one until properly remodeled.
