The Powder House Lodge is an amazing place to stay. First, we were met by the manager(wish I remembered her name) all business but very kind and helpful, thank you, manager, sorry I forgot your name. Then we got to our room. Very spacious, clean and all that you need. At check in the manager gave us a voucher for the restaurant on site. We saved it for breakfast the day we left. The hostess was very nice, the waitress was fantastic and yes, the manager was there to greet us and ask how everything was The topper is the price for the room was well below other places that I feel are no way near as nice. My wife mentioned this to the manager and her response was so refreshing. "We keep our price down so families can enjoy their vacation." Well, we definitely enjoyed our trip and the stay at the Powder house topped it off nicely. Thank you

Clean room, dedicated parking space. This property is located by a busy highway, but it did quiet down at night. The fridge in our room was rather noisy when it kicked in.

I loved the cabin we stayed in. It was super cute and the bed was so comfortable. The convenience of having a restaurant on site was so nice after our long drive to the site.

We stayed in the duplex with 2 queen beds. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We felt very safe. Enjoyed dinner at the lodge restaurant and everything was good! Would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, the room we were supposed to stay in had a water heater that was not working. However, when we arrived, they let us know, and they put is in a different room that was much larger than we had booked. They fixed the water heater our first day, and then they moved our stuff for us to the original room we were supposed to be in. Both rooms were very clean, the staff was very friendly, and everything was good in both rooms that we stayed in. We would definitely stay here again in the future. We liked not being in a standard hotel with lots of connected rooms, and we enjoyed the location of the cabin on the side of the mountain/hill.

Hidden small gem in a rustic setting. We stayed in one of the "hotel" like rooms as we were trying to be budget friendly. We were very impressed with the easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff, and updated room. We had a wonderful breakfast in the morning at their on-site restaurant and our server was friendly and provided some very helpful tips for our day's itinerary. Hope we make it back to this area so we can stay there again.

Beautiful location, convenient to Keystone and many blacks hills points of interest. A bargain to have a nice cabin with a porch with a nice view and surroundings. Staff very helpful and friendly anticipating your needs! Loved it and would come back

The cabin was very nice, clean and easy to find. The swimming pool was nice and they have some pool toys that the kids enjoyed. Beds where comfortable. It would be nice to have a trail that would go up into the trees and loop around the resort. (Maybe hide a geo cache on it).

The cabin was super cute, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Very conveniently located. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. The onsite restaurant was OUTSTANDING! We thoroughly enjoyed two delicious dinners and one breakfast there.

This place is so cute and quaint. I love that it’s family owned because they genuinely care for their guests and the property. I loved the restaurant and the bread. Omg. Their homemade fresh bread is so delicious. You also get a $15 voucher towards a meal during your stay. I really hope I have another opportunity to stay for longer in the future.
