This is our chosen place to stay. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is great. We love coming here when we visit Cleveland.

What a gem. The place was immaculate. The breakfast was good, the rooms were very clean. There was an old fashioned bar with a knowledgeable bartender. There music harkens back to a different time. Such attention to detail. It was also a great location. This will be my go to place to stay in Cleveland. I can’t recommend it too highly.

My room was fine. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good too. The coffee was weak, but I like strong coffee. The location to the museum was ideal. I will stay there again in the fall.

Glidden House is such a charming property with staff to match! Clean, comfortable rooms and public spaces that invite you to sit and relax with a glass of wine. Exceptional staff, Roger at the front door/desk actually escorted us to Little Italy so we could enjoy an authentic Italian dinner. The complimentary breakfast was well beyond the standard hotel fare, again served by a staff that was friendly and accommodating. The Glidden House is a little gem located in the middle of Cleveland’s cultural district.

This was an amazing place to stay. For one the historical factor and the preservation of the home is unique and beautiful. It is in a great location and within walking distance to many museums and the italian district with other food options close by as well. The grounds are well kept. There is parking on site so that is a plus. Small bar and an outdoor patio area which is secluded and pleasantly quiet. The breakfast was way more than just your average continental breakfast and well prepared. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They have a concierge to help with the luggage or questions as well as the front desk and bar staff. The morning crew helping with breakfast are on top of service. I would love to stay here again. It was definitely one of the best places ive stayed in awhile and i travel a lot. My only hesitation is the slight musty smell but it is an old home and some of that can not be avoided when staying in a historical location.

Charming, historic building with comfortable inviting public spaces. Great hot buffet breakfast. Comfortable but softer bedding. Bathroom could have more counter space. Great location for art museum and botanical gardens.

This is the perfect place to stay in beautiful landscaped area and surroundings. The following are less than a half-mile away: exquisite French restaurant, botanical gardens, Cleveland Museum of Art, free summer music concert in a big open field. Breakfast is scrumptious and has everything you could want including freshly made scones and eggs!
