I used to go to River and to meet guest artistsand even held a few costume fittings there. I’ve always loved the hotel. this time I got to stay there. The room was beautiful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was bigger than my last apartment in DC everyone was extremely nice and professional. Loved the parking situation that we could have access to the vehicle. The only thing wrong with the stay at the river Inn was that for us it was too short. Looking forward to our next stay. !

I loved this hotel honestly! Great location, felt safe, and enjoyed walking the cute neighborhood and along the river. This is a great spot if you’re ballin on a budget, you definitely get what you’re paying for. Parking was a bit tricky and we ended up just valeting our car for $55 a night, but that’s the only negative I have to say. Otherwise the room was clean, comfy bed, kitchen had everything we needed. And there’s a Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods down the street! We will likely stay here again when we’re in DC next :)

The staff was outstanding. Bell Hops were always helpful and valet was easy. We had to change rooms the last night and they did it all for us while we were on a tour. They called when it was setup and met us at the door to make sure everything was satisfactory. We will definitely be back.

Great location and easy access to downtown and Georgetown. Rooms were clean. The staff on the front desk were super friendly and did not hesitate to help find a room for early check-in. Self use laundry worked as expected.i would recommend this place.

I enjoyed the kitchen, the hospitality, the room was clean, big, the staff was very friendly and it really improved my time at Washington DC the hotel is also close to the national mall and it does have a nice restaurant downstairs in the lobby.

This is a hidden gem of a hotel! The location was perfect for us-a short walk to the Metro and a Trader Joe's. The tree lined street was beautiful. We had a 1 bedroom suite which gave us plenty of space to sprad out and relax after a full day of exploring D.C. We can't wait to stay here on our next trip to D.C.

We stayed here while doing college visits for my son. Excellent hotel and location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant had good food and excellent service. Also, you are in walking diatnce to George Washington Univeristy, a short Uber ride from Georgetown, and very close to the train station.

Clean rooms, spacious rooms, comfortable bedding, clean bathrooms. A bit old cabinets, but that didnt bother me. Super convenient for DC tourist attractions.. 5 min walk to metro station. Good food options close by.

This place is absolutely great. The staff is amazing. There were hiccups, but they did what they had to to make them right. I will say, it could definitely use some updating, but that didn't bother me. Frankly, with its staff and layout, if they update too well, the price could be double and be reasonable...so I'm fine if they keep as is, lol. Definitely worth it and then some. The in house restaurant/bar has good food. It's a little pricey though, especially for breakfast. Dinner seemed reasonable and food was excellent. Definitely had a great time here.

Staff were very friendly. Spacious 1bd apartment with kitchen. Dog friendly property. This is not an upscale apartment building, although with charm, it is an older building in a great location. It was perfect for our family!
