Loved our stay! Can’t wait to come back. He service was wonderful. There were some waits or delays due to lack of staff but easy to overlook with the facility and heir quick response when brought to their attention. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough nice things about our stay! The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Daughter and family relocated to the area, we’ve stayed at 3 very disappointing hotels in the area before this trip. The Trail is the best all-around property by a miles! They take dogs, too. You will love this hotel!

The pool was amazing! Worth just staying at the hotel for the outdoor pool. The front desk staff were delightful and shared information about the community and favorite places to eat. Loved the Old Fashion on tap with a little cherry syrup. 😉for those just starting to enjoy Bourbon. Beds and linens were comfortable. Stayed in double queen room and it was a bit smaller, not a lot of extra room but did the job. We didn’t have a dog, but loved that this nice hotel was pet friendly. Wish they had spa service as it would have topped off the experience.

Here’s a polished, smooth version that keeps your voice but reads clean and confident: I stayed at The Trail Hotel for a quick overnight visit, and even in that short time it left a great impression. The amenities were beautiful, and the staff was both welcoming and genuinely informative. I didn’t get the chance to fully explore everything since it was just a one‑night stay, but the food was excellent. My boyfriend was impressed too. We’re already planning a return trip so we can really experience everything the hotel has to offer.

The was an amazing experience. They did everything right. Yes - they took the bones of an old hotel and gave it new life, and they did a fantastic job. The reception, bars, restaurant and rooms were beautifully done and finding the speak easy was a blast (and super cute too). I wasn't sure what to expect initially, but this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. Highly recommend!

We did not pre-book at The Trail, but we were glad to get a room there. The rooms were tastefully redone, keeping with the bourbon trail theme. The onsite restaurant and bar was nice. My only complaint was access to our room was not easy to navigate. With lots of luggage you had to go in and out of several outside doors to get to our room. We weren’t the only ones having a difficult time finding our room. Besides that, this is a great hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was large and the patio was nicely decorated. We had a good meal and great cocktails in the bar/restaurant. The Trail Hotel is located just out of town, so it was easy to drive to downtown Bardstown or take a taxi. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We will devinitely come back again!

Loved it and excited to come back next year! The decor and details were on point. The food is incredible and the drinks are spectacular. Cards or games and music could be nice in the Lounge across from the Bourbon Alley for another place to hang out there.

The entire stay was wonderful and the property was very nice. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant. The pasta was tasty but the Caesar salad was not worth the cost. The Old Fashioned was perfect. Would definitely stay again.
