Historic Delightful journey back in time with modern amenities. Breakfast each morning and afternoon snack a lovely & yummy touch. Each room is quite different from the other. It's good to check in advance about the configuration of the room. We took two different rooms and both equally comfortable. The staff members were incredible. from reception to dining to Cleaning. Everyone pitched in and could not have been more gracious or thoughtful. It's really something special. Having lived in Cedarburg as a young child and coming back all these years later it was remarkable to see that there were only good changes. This is a don't miss. The best part is coming on the Fourth of July because they set chairs out for guests. This parade is huge on the Fourth of July and you can even see the fireworks out out of your windows.

We stayed at the annex, called the Shroeder house, 2 doors down the street. It was beautiful on the outside and had a garden and parking in back. Having only 4 rooms, it was nice and quiet. The room itself had a nice fireplace and giant jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed and cable TV. The location cannot be beat. Walkable to lots of stores, restaurants and bars. Washington House has a nice wine and cheese social hour with a variety of local wines and cheeses and crackers. The breakfast has something for everyone. Favorites include Kringles, fresh berries, egg casserole. This was a great place to stay.

The morning breakfast experience is equally enjoyable with their curated breakfast of homemade goodness. Be sure to try their homemade maple butter on fresh baked goods and breads. The room was large and well furnished. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. Parking was easy. The only downside for us was the large jetted tub which was difficult to get into and out of to take a shower.

The staff at the Washington House Inn are simply delightful - from check in to breakfast to those cleaning and maintaining this lovely building - all were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb, fresh with many different homemade offerings. The staff even offered me a to-go box when I couldn’t eat all my breakfast. Check in and out was very easy and there was plenty of parking in the private lot and down the street. This is the third time we have stayed here, and we intend another visit next year as well.
