These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DownPay feature ("DownPay") offered by tiket.com. By choosing to use the DownPay, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, in addition to the general tiket.com Terms & Conditions and the 100% Refund Terms and Conditions.

 

 

1. General

 

a. DownPay is a payment feature that allows you to secure an eligible flight booking by paying an initial down payment, with the remaining balance to be paid at a later date as specified in the payment period as determined by tiket.com. The departure e-ticket will be given to you after the order is fully paid.

 

b.DownPay applies to the purchase of flight tickets, both domestic and international, that meet the criteria and availability as determined by tiket.com.

 

c. DownPay does not apply to bookings made through B2B Corporate partners or B2B Affiliate partners, unless otherwise determined by tiket.com in accordance with the applicable policy.

 

d. You must be logged in to your tiket.com account to access and use the DownPay feature.

 

 

2. Eligibility and Availability

 

a. Tiket.com reserves the right to establish and determine which flight bookings are eligible for the DownPay feature, in accordance with tiket.com’s internal policies.

 

b. The amount of the initial down payment and the period for settling the remaining balance for flight ticket booking may vary and shall determined in accordance with tiket.com’s internal policies.

 

c.  In the event that the DownPay option is displayed or offered for a flight ticket  booking due to any technical issue or error, tiket.com reserve the right to cancel such the DownPay arrangement. In this case, you will be notified and provided with option to either proceed with booking by paying the full amount or receive a refund of the down payment previously made.

 

3. Payment Process

 

a. Your booking will be  considered confirmed only upon tiket.com  receipt of cleared funds for the initial down payment.

 

b. The remaining balance for the flight ticket booking may be paid before the due date as determined by tiket.com. Information regarding the payment period will be provided through your tiket.com account. The available payment methods for settling the remaining balance will be displayed on the payment page.

 

c. Promotional codes and Tiket Points cannot be applied to paying an initial down payment.

 

 

4. Mandatory 100% Refund

 

a. By selecting the DownPay feature, You are agree that your flight ticket booking will  automatically include the 100% Refund program. An additional fee for this program will apply in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions and will be displayed on the payment page.

 

b. All cancellations and refunds for bookings made using the DownPay feature shall be governed exclusively by the terms and conditions of the 100% Refund program. For more information, please refer to the official 100% Refund Terms and Conditions available on tiket.com.

 

 

5. Booking Modifications and Changes

 

Before the full payment of your booking is fully settled, the following conditions will apply:

 

a. You cannot perform the following actions through tiket.com or the airline: (i) Change reservation details; (ii) Reschedule the flight; or (iii) Request a partial refund. These options will only become available after the booking has been fully paid through tiket.com.

 

b. While there is any remaining balance on your DownPay plan, any change or modifications to your booking may only be made in accordance with tiket.com’s policy. You agree not to contact the airline directly to request any changes to your travel itinerary, as your booking is integrated with tiket.com’s system and such request cannot be processed outside our system.

 

c. You acknowledge and agree that contacting the airline directly before completing the full payment, including for any request to modify or cancel the booking, obtaining booking details (such as booking codes), or request a refund, constitutes a breach of these Terms. In the event of such a breach, tiket.com reserves the right to: (i) Immediately cancel your booking and DownPay arrangement; (ii) Cancel any and all refund guarantees, including the 100% Refund program; (iii) Deem all payments made non-refundable; and (iv) Hold you responsible for any fees or losses incurred by tiket.com as a result of the breach; and (v) suspend or restrict your Account access, including future use of the DownPay feature.

 

 

6. Failure to Complete Payment

 

a. You acknowledge and agree that if the remaining balance for your booking is not settled by the specified due date, tiket.com reserves the right to automatically cancel your booking without further notice.

 

b. You acknowledge that the deposit paid through the DownPay feature is non-refundable if the remaining payment is not completed according to the specified schedule.

The 100% Refund Program only applies to bookings that have been fully paid, in accordance with tiket.com’s applicable policy, taking into account any non-refundable third-party transaction fees as specified therein.

You also understand that any additional features (add-ons) purchased together with the DownPay booking, including but not limited to travel insurance or other optional services, are not covered by the refund, in accordance with the applicable policy.

 

 

7. Notifications

 

a. tiket.com will endeavor to send reminders for your upcoming payment due date via app notifications.

 

b. You acknowledge and agree that the failure to receive notifications, whether due to technical reasons or other factors beyond tiket.com’s control, does not exempt you and your obligation to monitor the payment due date and ensure that payment is made on time.

 

 

8. Currency

 

All transactions and payments related to the tiket DownPayment feature must be made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

 

 

9. General Provisions

 

a. Precedence: In the event of any conflict, the order of precedence shall be: (i) these DownPay Terms; (ii) the 100% Refund Terms and Conditions; (iii) the general tiket.com Terms & Conditions.

 

b. Modification of Terms: Tiket.com may  amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments will be effective for all new DownPay bookings made after the revised Terms are published. The terms that were in effect at the time you made your initial down payment will govern your existing DownPay plan, in order to ensure legal certainty for prior transactions. tiket.com encourages you to periodically review this Terms page to ensure that you understand and are aware of any updates or revisions that may apply from time to time.

 

c. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, tiket.com’s liability is limited to the amount of the initial down payment or any amount you have paid in connection with your use of the DownPay feature, and only applies if the loss or damage is directly caused by tiket.com’s proven negligence. You further agree that tiket.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the DownPay feature.

 

d. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.In the event of a dispute, the matter shall be resolved amicably through mutual consultation. If no resolution can be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency in Jakarta, without prejudice to tiket.com’s right to pursue legal action before any court within the territory of Indonesia.

 

e. tiket.com does not guarantee this DownPay feature will be free from technical failures or system issues caused by network, hardware, or software disruptions affecting Users' ability to using DownPay feature. However, tiket.com is committed to resolving technical issues as quickly as possible.

 

f. tiket.com is not responsible for failure to using DownPay feature due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, system outages, or third-party disruptions

 

g. Users who using  DownPay feature agree and consent that their data, including but not limited to name, email address, phone number, and friend connections, may be used by tiket.com for future marketing and promotional purposes. This may include receiving communications about upcoming products, services, and promotions from tiket.com.

 

h. tiket.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the DownPay feature for any account found to be engaging in fraudulent activities, including but not limited to making bookings using false information or engaging in any form of deceptive conduct related to transactions. All decisions made by tiket.com are final and not subject to appeal.

 

i. Flight ticket prices may fluctuate at any time due to airline policies or other external factors. tiket.com does not guarantee the same price will be available in the event of cancellations or changes beyond tiket.com’s control.

 

j. You agree to be fully responsible for the accuracy of the information entered when using the DownPay feature, including passenger names and flight details. You acknowledge and release tiket.com from any liability for booking errors resulting from incorrect information provided by you.

 

k. Your rights and obligations in using the DownPay feature may not be transferred, sold, or assigned to any other party without the prior written consent of tiket.com.

 

These terms and conditions are made in two languages, which are Indonesian and English. If there are any misrepresentations between the Indonesian and the English version, then the Indonesian version shall prevail.
