Very nice view and excellent housekeeping. Signs is a stunning island. We have two children, one of which is severely disabled, and I believe he was too loud for this location. We had traveled all over Greece, from Alexandroupolis to Thessaloniki, to Athens, to the island of Regina, and finally signs. There are many beautiful things about greek culture, especially the total acceptance and love of all sorts of children. But this was the first place in Greece where children weren't as welcomed. It caters to a different crowd, it's not really a family area unless you have a very quiet child. I would have chosen this hotel if I had known. Also, we had packed, and the checkout time was at noon. At 1140, the gentleman came and asked if we were keeping an eye on the time it was time to depart! We paid a lot of money to stay there, and we should have been able to stay until check out if we felt inclined.

We stayed in a spacious and comfortable apartment with a balcony and terrace with a very nice view of the sea and perfect for the sunset. The apartment's location is good, just a short walk from the port and shops and 100 m from the beach. It was very clean and well decorated with a greek traditional feeling. The people working there were very friendly and helpful, always very nice and smiling with our kids. Service was excellent with daily cleaning. They even cleaned our dishes! The only thing I would recommend is more kitchen equipment since it is only the strict minimum.

The Alkyonis Apartments were very relaxing and spotless, well-maintained with clean housekeeping, just a short walk to damages with plenty of restaurants to choose from, a good bus service to get you out of, and a great base for many well-signposted footpaths.

We would absolutely return. Probably next year! First, a warning take a sharp knife, a bottle opener, and a corkscrew! Otherwise, my wife and I thought everything was fine. Our patio had fantastic views of the valley, the bay, the boat landings with plenty of seats, a large table, and the back patio where you may dry clothing. The studios have been built to give you the impression that you are living in your own tiny town house. There was a double bed with a three-quarter wall separating it from the rest of the room, as well as two bedstands. This was ideal for us because we do not sleep well in the same room, but this provided us with the best of both worlds. There was plenty of room for storage and a to, despite the fact that there were no English-speaking channels on it. The air conditioner worked well, as well as a sturdy door and metal mesh frame that fitted over the window when it was almost open. The bathroom had a very effective shower, wash basin, and toilet, and there was a fly screen on the window. This tiny complex is roughly a ten-minute walk from the center of damage, where there are some nice eateries, taverns, and two supermarkets. We visited occasionally for breakfast and occasionally for lunch. There is a reasonable bus service
