INSIDE THE HOUSE: When you leave the house: Please turn off all of the lights - Please close all of the windows and lock all the doors and windows. Be sure to check that the windows are closed on the latch as the wind here can sometimes cause them to open. This also prevents any possible attempts of theft. Please make sure that the garden lights are turned off during the day When the weather is hot, it is best to close the shutters. which will keep the house cool. The windows are made of a special thermal glass which will keep out the heat if they remain closed when you are away. The wooden dining table is an antique. Please use the white plastic cover below the tablecloth (located in the credenza) when you set the table.
AC INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES: Push on Select temperature MAX 23 OR 24 (NOT 18° AS WE ARE CERTIFIED GREEN LEADER). Select swing automatic. Select snow symbol or A that is automatic so it will work for the temperature selected. You can use one remote control for all the rooms. Do not use AC when you are not home.
ELECTRICITY – Please do not use AC and washing together, if the electricity go down the switch is located close the entrance door.
KITCHEN: always leave the switch in the kitchen on 1 – and not 0 otherwise you will note have any electricity.
HEATING - The heat cannot be turned on, by law, before November 1 or after March 31. The swimming pools are opened by May 1st, sometimes before this date and up to Mid October, but dates can change per weather forecast. Heating cost starts from 30 euro per day if it is used before November 1 and after March 31.
TV - SKY TV CHANNELS Push information or the yellow bottom and select Lingua, language to switch it to English. From 112 there are all fictions and Fox channels FROM 402 all documentaries. From 502 news and sport, CNN is 526 .
WATER - Please drink our water, so that we use less plastic bottles! And Please, if you smoke, outside the house.
IMPORTANT NOTE - We run an honesty scheme, if something breaks, please advise the owners. If no notification damage within 24 hours, you will be charged on your bill.
TOWELS AND LINENS Towels are provided free of charge and will be changed free of charge every seven days.
AT THE POOL Please shower before using the swimming pool - (the shower is located in the pool area) When you leave the pool, please, close the pool umbrella and leave in order the sun beds.
GARBAGE: Choose the color of the recycling bins and use the containers outside the entrance gate for not recycling, organic, plastic, paper and glass. We try to have all the foods we make for our guests the most organic, and our facilities the most eco-friendly! In Italy, we have no nuclear power, so all of our energy is very expensive and limited. For this reason we use solar energy to try and help with the cost of electricity. We try to use less Air Conditioning and keep our windows open, we store and filter rain water to use with our irrigation, on our property we have honey bees to pollinate our olive trees and use the honey for our guests, and we try to give our guest organic products from our garden when they arrive! We were even awarded TripAdvisor Green Leaders Platinum for sustainability!
