Our first stay in a traditional ryokan and one of the highlights of our Japan trip. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the peaceful atmosphere was remarkable — apart from breakfast and the drum performance, we barely saw another guest. It genuinely felt like stepping back in time. We stayed as an LGBT couple and felt completely comfortable throughout our stay. Our room was huge, with traditional flooring and views of Mount Fuji, which we also enjoyed from the rooftop onsen. The onsen experience was a highlight. As visitors from the UK it was completely new to us, but we embraced it and loved it. The traditional meal was also a wonderful experience; my partner does not eat fish and the hotel accommodated this after we contacted them in advance. The menu is fixed, so picky eaters may wish to bring snacks. You dine in a private dining room. Beautiful gardens, exceptional hospitality and a unique sense of calm made this an unforgettable stay

The hotsprings here are amazing, with a great view of Mt. Fuji. The food is delicious, and the wine is great. The staff are very helpful, and kind. Even with knowing very little japanese, there is enough english accommodation to enjoy your stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing, peaceful, vacation.

We had an amazing stay here in a western style room with our private onsen. The stuff is amazing, super friendly, and always responsive. The dinner is a multicourse Japanese dinner, and the breakfast is a mixed Japanese and western style buffet breakfast with extensive choices. They’ll pick you up and drop you off at the train station, which was great. We enjoyed the tea service, evening drum show, firefly viewing, and walking around the beautiful garden.. they have an upstairs and downstairs onsen How do you recommend this resort?

Beautiful luxury hotel with amazing attentive staff. They prioritize making you feel welcome and as comfortable as possible including giving a tour of the main areas and your room when you get there. The dinner and breakfast are also amazing - our server Yuri was so sweet! We also had a phenomenal view of Mount Fuji in the early morning and the after+dinner Taiko drum show was a highlight. We only stayed for one night but it was certainly memorable and hopefully can return for longer in the future. Definitely recommend for a high-end stay near Mount Fuji!

We have a great time from checking in to the time of check out the environment is so peaceful, the room is so clean and comfortable. The garden is so beautiful that one can just stay and enjoy all day… the sound of the flowing water was there while enjoying the colors of the surroundings. Oh the view of Mount Fuji was stunning.

[Caution] We do not accept reservations for guests who do not follow Japanese onsen ryokan etiquette. Ex: Tattoos are not allowed in the public baths.
[Note] If you use one room for 3 people or less and check in after 04:00PM, we may ask you to lay out the bedding in advance.
[Note] Up to 3 rooms of the same type can be reserved. Group use of 4 or more rooms is not permitted.
