When you travel to Nozawa and it's just deep powder all day, the genuine, friendly and cosy feel of this family hotel is right on the money for the unpretentious happywithfivestars ornostars.

We will stay at this place again in the future. I really recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay at the marushige after a long day of skiing. The owner was so kind and helped us with directions and any questions we had about the town. The food here is delicious and diverse. The roman is close to the ski resort and the other dining options and also the famous ones.

On our skiing trip, we stayed 5 nights there. The family-run hotel is close to the lifts, one, and bus stop. The family was very helpful and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. The drying area is warm and open. The ski and snowboard storage area is large and secure. There is even a bench to keep your skis or snowboard in good condition. Our futon mattress was comfortable, and the eiderdown was thick and warm. We will surely return.

Reiko and her family are amazing generous and caring hosts. Simple but clean and comfy accommodation. The gondola, the local public entrance, and the village are all within easy walking distance of the lodge. Breakfast was good value, and dinner was authentic and delicious. Will stay here again if I have the good fortune to revisit..

Nozawa is near the ski gondola, main road, and many local free-of-charge shops. Besides that, the location is nice and the cleanliness is well-kept. Also, the walking tour is recommended in Nozawa. You can easily stay for four nights if you are planning to visit Yoko at the same time.
