The price-quality ratio is difficult to find. For other visitors, the accommodation and food are good, but expect a pricey European bill and a bragging proprietor. For the lodging and cuisine, it is nice, but anticipate an overpriced European bill and a blagging proprietor. Staying at this lodge has two contradictory stories on one side, the lodge is one of the best looking places weve visited in Madagascar. It is remote from civilization and close to the bay of the brilliant emerald sea. The owner will pick you up on a motorequipped sailboat, and the time will depend on the tide, about 1. 52. Oh. The small bungalow where we slept on was 25 I to the sea and basic yet adequate. Its view is incredible, there is excellent snorkeling, and the woods have lemurs and more distant baobabs of 510 i. The cuisine is also fresh and decent, and Jeanne, the proprietor, will provide you with a three-house lunch and dinner in threehouses. You will feel at ease, and the owner entertains you by he likes to talk about his life and experiences without asking yours. He wonders why nobody reads reviews about their stay. My wife and I visited this small lodge with four friends. The owner and his ramen crew picked us up by boat. We got to the lodge around 30. The views from this very quiet place are incredible. There are few places you can take a picture of a zeb standing in front of you with a background of 180 degrees amazing emerald water and sandy beaches. Jeanclaude and his wife Vivian are wonderful hosts. We had a wonderful breakfast and a delicious, fresh seafood lunch. We planned only a one-day trip, so we didn't have enough time to explore the woods and the baobab region, but we enjoyed swimming in the emerald sea. We were offered the use of a bungalow to take a shower. The 2 bungalows are simple and clean. Only one regret not spending a few nights.

After booking owner said that they are closed since a month and I needed to change my whole plan as it was the only affordable hotel in the area.
