Unexpected. Old village atmosphere yet near to nature. Not recommended for those expecting a resort that is close to upscale seaside or if they are looking for shabby, hightech, topcity style lodging. It is not your typical resort. The room is large, clean, has aire conditioning and flies. There is nifty fridge, but no cabinet. Just hungers and frame for hanging clothes. Toilet and shower are decent size, although most people may find them small due to limited space. Muslimfriendly with qr and prayer mat in the drawer.4.8/519 Mar 2024

The resort is beautiful and has the sweetest host ive ever met. The rooms are small but clean and selfsufficient. Breakfast menu was limited but the food was good. A few limitations were the access road to the property which needs to be cleaned and the need for few vegetarian friendly options like at least cereals for breakfast. What a wonderful location the api-api eco resort is. It is about ten minutes drive from the airport and is situated in lush surroundings with very comfortable lodging. The swimming pool was perfect for our needs, and we loved it. Excellent breakfast selection, all freshly prepared at your chosen time (you select from their menu the night before). This is secluded and wellrun, with amiable, unassuming vibes. Ideal for individuals, couples, families, or families seeking peace and quiet. Overall, we had a great time and wouldnt hesitate to return. In my opinion, api is hardly suited for you who dislike being near nature. Yes, the mosques can occasionally be quite noisy, but if you listen and accept it, it can also be very charming. Api is an extremely peaceful place to stay for the rest of the time, just wear the provided earplugs unless you dont want to wake up at 6 oclock. The pool overlooking the pond is small but clean, and it is perfect for watching quietly for otter sea ants to come and get dinner. Although some maintenance is required, there is nothing significant. Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated, creating ambiance. All of staff were extremely friendly, including the resident cat, as was the free breakfast each day. If you want more information about the island, you can rent equestrian equipment from the resort. On the main road, several neighborhood restaurants are close by, or you may venture inland for more established restaurants. There isnt he little cafe on the property when we were there, which might be during high season, in my view, would be incredibly beneficial compared to other locations on this island. We stayed here with eight friends who were high school alumni. The owners and retired school heads teachers were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was so good, the fluffy omelets are still in my head! During our stay, mangrove dried up and gave us a view of the outside space and overseas.4.6/521 Jun 2024

Rooms surrounded by a small lake. Island in the middle with hammocks, deck with loungers overlooking the lake and adjacent pool. Breakfast options included in room price, both western and malaysian, taken on decked areas overlookting the lakes. The room had cosy beds, ceiling fans, and efficient air conditioning. Shower was good. Hairdryer, iron, kettle, mosquito repellents provided. Room was clean. Others have complained about the noise of local mosques but we didnt find this to be problematic and earplugs are provided anyway. There are many birds to see and animals if you are lucky, including the resident cat who seemed to call himself oreo.4.6/529 May 2023

This location in langkawi is truly unique. Mr. Chen is a fascinating individual who pays attention to detail. The chalets are very nice, and the atmosphere is excellent. In our 6 weeks in Asia, the swimming pool was the cleanest weve seen, there are fruit trees around, as well as tastier breakfast! Yes, you do require reserving ebikes (which can be rented on site), and from Api-Api, youre well situated to explore the island. You are comparatively distant from the touristy and busy area but closer to obtaining fewer romantic experiences here. We found the morning prayer from mr. Chan to be beautiful and important for our cultural setting.4.4/523 Jul 2024
