Delicious cuisine. Excellent service. Snorkeling is the ideal vacation. The owner is a kind person. Helpful staff. Jozef, abbazia, and angelika are all from slovakia.

The atmosphere is calm, the staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the food is delicious. I recommend trying local cuisine.

This place is not a place for pretentious tourists, the beach and reef are boring, and the island itself is uninteresting. The owner is willing to help, pay attention to requests, serve delicious juices, transfer 40 dollars to biyadhoo and back, have nappy rooms, cosy rooms on the second floor, dinner on top floor.

Summer villa was the best place for us to stay in maafushi. The staff is very kind and always willing to help, give you more information or arrange trips. Breakfast and all the food we had there (try their veg curry and milkshakes! ) were just great, better than most restaurants on the island. I will be very happy to return!.

The island is quite small, so its not far from bikinis beaches and all the activity. A little bit far to bikitis beach and everything. Then, the hosts are very kind and hospitable, always willing to help. After, they have restaurant on the last floor of the building with reasonable prices. Subsequently, rooms with air conditioning.

We had a homecooked experience in maldivian hospitality because the family members ran it. Every day, the rooms were kept up and kept spotless. We appreciated that they inquired about cleaning the accommodations when we were absent. A safe place to go with children.

First of all, it feels like home. Very friendly owners and staff. Food is prepared and served on request. Just check in and tell them your requirements or what you want to do for the holiday and they will plan accordingly so you wont be disappointed.

An excellent guest house for your vacation in the maldives. Super friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Clean premises, delicious food and all the extras you could ever need - free tea all day, beach towels and even snorkeling equipment. The room is quite far from the beach, about 1 km away. There is a small store in front of the guest house. The location is close to the seaside. It has many facilities such as tv, water boiler, small fridge, shower gel, and much more.

All the common things say you get what you pay for. We booked this guest house because we knew we would only be staying at maafushi for one day because of the tour we wanted to do. This guesthouse gives you what your paid for, so im not sure why people are complaining so much. Customer service is great even though i didnt communicate with them that long but the front desk really helped us last minute for the speedboat as we had to catch a flight right after the trip. All ive got to say is if you are looking for slumber, this is the best option he can recommend. And they also have breakfast. The frontdesk even adjusted the break time because u had an early departure for our tour which was very nice of them.

Announcement

Local residents and work permit holders in the Maldives are subject to bed tax refund directly from the hotel upon presentation of ID card or work permit card at check in.
The guest house is located in the local island of Maafushi where the Government regulations require that guests do not wear bikini or similar swimwear while in the area. However, the hotel can arrange excursions to picnic islands for guests where these restrictions are not applied.

Transfer to Maafushi Hotels

To reach the hotels in Maafushi Island, a public ferryboat OR chartered speedboat can be arranged by the hotel for which payment will be collected upon check –in.
Please contact the hotel to book your transfer arrangement at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Your arrival and departure flight details and full names of traveling party will be required.

Public Ferryboat
• Ferryboat takes 90 minutes to reach Maafushi Island and costs approximately USD 2.00 per person per way.
• Ferry departs from Male’ at 15:00 hrs / Ferry departs from Maafushi Island at 07:30 hrs
• If your flight lands AFTER 13:00 hrs, you will need to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to stay in Male’
• NO Ferry services on Friday.

Chartered SpeedBoat
• Speedboat takes 35 minutes to reach Maafushi Island and approximately costs USD 160 - 200 per trip
• Shared speedboat transfer for a surcharge of approximately USD 30-50 per person for minimum of 5 persons group.
• Advance booking is required for speedboat transfer

About Summer Villa Guest House

The guesthouse is located on a local island, south of Male, the capital of Maldives. The beach is just around an 8-minute walk from the property. It takes 90 minutes by ferry boat and 30 minutes by speed boat to reach the hotel from Male, it is also not far from the airport. Built in 2011, the property is a great accommodation choice which provides guests with a private and personal atmosphere. It offers a friendly and enjoyable environment at very reasonable prices. The guesthouse reflects all that is good about the Maldives. Guests are welcomed in the air-conditioned guesthouse's lobby, which offers 24-hour reception and 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe and currency exchange facilities. Younger guests can let off steam at the children's playground. Guests can enjoy a drink at the café, and can dine in the restaurant. Internet access is provided as are room and laundry services, and bicycle hire. Those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park. All rooms are en suite with a hot water shower, bath, towels, shampoo and soap. A double or king-size bed comes as standard, as does a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can stay connected during their stay thanks to the Internet access provided. There is an in-room safe for the storage of valuables. The rooms have individually regulated air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a minibar.
