Property was exactly as stated in the listing. Everything I needed was available, and had no issues with the apartment. It is a historic building so there is dampness/moisture scents however, with the air conditioner it was fine. The location is amazing and the room was very quiet at night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this location and would recommend it highly.

The apartment was wonderful and the location was ideal for walking to nearby restaurants, shopping, and sites to visit. The only thing I would caution people who have difficulty climbing stairs - this might not be the best place for you - there are stairs to get to the apartment and another flight inside the apartment to get to the 2nd bedroom. We loved the space and the balcony overlooking the street - it is a very good place to stay in old San Juan

I can't say enough about this place. The location was perfect. Walking distance to everything in Old San Juan. Very easy instructions to get in and, although I never needed them, the staff was always there to support. Will be staying here again in future trips!

This was an excellent choice of stay. The AC leaked water heavily when turned on. The ceiling where the wood are has and shows mold. Bathroom had someone’s hair in the shower. But over all loved it!

Clean and charming apartment in the heart of Old San Juan. The apartment was very clean. Charming warm style. And the location was excellent - near many great restaurants and shops. Check in was seemless and the owners were very responsive. Would recommend.

Beautiful property right at the edge of busy Old SJ. Close enough that everything was just a short walk, but a little further so you miss most of the street revelers at night. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean and relaxing. The owner was great with answering questions. There is a small 24h patking garage (la Cochera) on the next block. Stop and ask about a spot even if the sign says the garage is full (they found us a spot).

Room was clean. The 2 story layout was unique. Location was convenient. Note that it is an old building, so getting large suitcases up the stairs was a challenge. Air freshener was overpowering so we unplugged them, but this unit has no windows to let fresh air in.

Clean room in a great location. Comfy bed. Only complaint was the AC left a large pool of water in the center of the apartment. Also, I reached out twice with questions and they never got back to me. We only stayed 1 night so it was not a big deal.

Room was as expected with respect to number of beds, bathrooms, accessories etc. Location, too was as expected and directions to get into property were clear and easy. The room (apartment #1), however, had a musty odor upon arrival and remained throughout the night we were there. The sign in the bathroom gave instructions to dispose of all soiled toilet paper into the garbage and to not flush it down the toilet due to plumbing. I travel quite a bit and never had that experience; it was not pleasant to say the least. The ceiling in the main room had plenty of water stains, some appeared to be black mold, although I cannot confirm that. The air conditioner split unit leaked while we were at dinner and we came back to water on the floor. We turned the a/c off and cleaned up the water. It was late when we got back to the apartment, but I contacted the owner via messenger, text, and by leaving a phone message. He said he would look into it when the apartment was available. My opinion… It needs some work/ updates. The location is great, the place is spacious. But the musty, moldy odor made it impossible to enjoy a good night sleep.

A couple things ruined the stay for us. First, the pictures show windows which in fact are not facing outside, but to an indoor enclosed courtyard so there's not a single window outside, and I'll get to that, but suffice to say if I put windows in a picture it leads me to believe they are exterior ones. Next, the smell. Because there is no ventilation they have a big problem with mildew which was just masked by an ungodly amount of floral cleaner. There was no way to get rid of it although it did die down a little by our last day which is when the mildew smell started to take over.

We arrived at the address on 03/20/26 and called and spoke to Amanda due to I never received email, she had to force it manually to get access code for access to store luggage. Which that door is on another block, so we drug all 14 bags down the road and around the corner up the steep sidewalk. The place had a mold smell, very strong. The first night was ok, we got off the cruise on 3/28/26 and had a different room on the 3rd floor. They dont tell you no elevator and each floor is 2 strories so its acutally on the 6th floor, so we drug 14 luggages up stairs, let me tell you, its not for the old. Our room had a window in it that the next room had their light on and our room was lit all night and could not sleep. Horrible design, wont stay there ever again, would not recommend it either, and i will post pics of the mold in our room, shower, and hallway. Our room acutally and rain coming thru a hole in the wall ,see attached pics, this place is nuts how it passes inspection, the air wicks in every outlet won't hide the mold smell, and for what we paid, the Casablanca beats them every day of the week!!!

The website does not state there are no elevators, so each floor is actually 2 stories, so we were on the 3rd floor and had to carry our cruise luggage up 6 flights of stairs. That's only half the issue. We had mold right outside our doorway, inside our shower, inside our hotel. It rained one night and the rain came into the room thru a hole in the wall. Our room also had a window that was fogged out so you could not see thru it, well it belonged to the room next door inwhich our room was light all night by a light source coming from the room next door, The hotel smelled like mold, don't believe me, read the other reviews, I wish we did, for the money we spent, it is sad they charge the money they do, highway robbery, I will also attached pictures for those non-believers!!

The place wasn’t clean. Mold and Mildew. The apartment above us you could hear them clearly and their lights lite up the whole place.
