After a lengthy journey that made far too many stops at castles, hotels, breakfast, and London, we finally arrived at Santo Stefano Magma late at night. We were greeted warmly by Roberto, who was waiting for us. When we got there, we felt at home. At night, the castle del giulio's illumination conveys a sense of mystery and romance. Each room has a balcony that faces the garden, which has an antique fountain and fruit trees. The rooms are modest, cozy, and extremely comfortable, and are tastefully decorated in an elegant vintage way. The atmosphere was further enhanced by candles and books. We were immediately greeted by Roberto's dog, a Shepard who made us feel like family at breakfast. We heartily recommend the Castle del Giulio to anyone visiting Ligurien and looking to make a homey feeling at home.4.4/515 Jul 2023

We stayed at the apartment Il Polio for a few days. It was nice and spacious, with a lovely terrace with views of the sea. The location is fantastic, the beach is close by and you do not need a car every day to go to the sea.4.6/514 Jul 2023

We had a good time at La Rosa dei Venti. For a first-time visitor, it was the ideal setting for a quick introduction to italy. Songs, porto veneer, and even piss and florence were all easily accessible, and the sea's view was spectacular. The beach is also close by, but what we really liked was the staff, from the grandfather gentleman who operated the night shift to the young man who worked the day shift to the cleaning lady who said goodbye to us. The rooms were clean, the people were nice to us. The breakfast had lots of choices, and we liked having the beach for ourselves. I find that the hotel took the covid situation seriously and I felt safe all the way. Especially when other beaches have limited access, it is priceless to have this one. The terrace, private beach, and view from the breakfast area are very unique and wonderful. It is about ten minutes walk to cellar town center very small but very beautiful and charming! And there are several restaurants across the street. I gave them zero stars because the wifi did not work properly and they didn't have great customer service. However, overall I still recommend this hotel because it was in an absolutely stunning location and the room was clean and relatively comfortable.4.0/56 Mei 2023

Wed love to return to this incredible location. We arrived at this location with a medical problem. Roberto went above and beyond to assist us, his kindness and generosity, in addition to the beautiful room and excellent service, truly earns us a 55 rating. Up a flight of stairs, the room is situated above the breakfastcheckin room. The room offers air conditioning and heat, though we didn't require either. Bedside tables and lamps are useful because we like to read before going to sleep. The door looks like it might be on a bank safe because it's thick, and the beds a large twoperson bed and a single bed are warm as are the bedding and towels. We enjoy reading before going to bed. The bathroom is pleasant with new fixtures and the most interesting faucet. The views from the room, whether from the hillside villages or the interesting looking old-style building that is a part of the establishment, are beautiful. There are numerous enjoyable outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the afternoon or evening. Breakfast was very good, and the serving ladies are very helpful in planning your adventures. They will offer you whatever type of buns or sweat croissants you want, as well as meat, cheese, jams, juices, and good coffee. We were even able to make a sandwich with our leftover cheese meat and buns, which were delicious.4.4/56 Des 2022

The other parts of the package are a bit lacking. The pastoral setting is the major selling point of this property for which we spent three nights. The room 207 was rather cramped and lacking some standard amenities, including a kettle, the free dress shop coat hangers, and not what you typically see even in this category of hotel. I do not anticipate the Ritz-Carlton to make these figures, but some basic amenities would be beneficial. However, the internet is freely available in the room and is free, presumably because it doesn't work! Sadly, a wedding on the top floor kept going on until early in the morning, and the sleep quality is adequate. The bathroom is simple, with no shelf space for amenities, but it did come with a broken shower head. The typical free italian breakfast is awful, the fresh fruit is overripe and on the verge of rotting. There was a large variety of cake, good if you eat cake for breakfast, however, the worst aspect was that they charged for an egg even the most basic offer a boiled egg at least, I can't speak highly enough about the service because I didn't get any not even a good morning. Overall, we were happy to get away to a place that wasn't in the pinch of money, and after grazie on reception was the one shining light, she made the internet function for4.4/514 Agt 2022

I really enjoyed this place and strongly suggest it. We stayed here as a base for our cirque terre. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that the train for la speziacinque terre only had four daily departures, so plan ahead if you want to take the train. However, because we had a rental car, we could easily drive the short distance, so this wasn't a big deal. However, be careful of expensive parking near cirque terre. In addition, the room was large and modern, with all the necessities. Despite the fact that their English was slightly broken, the hosts were friendly and accommodating. One of the best stays we've had on our tour of Tuscany 5 terre, and I have to agree with the other reviewers that the atmosphere was fantastic.4.6/53 Agt 2022

The beach is an ad hominem. Wonderful place, huge rooftop terrace with sun loungers and a beautiful view. Nice restaurant with excellent food. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant employee wasn't too thrilled at all when at 10:15 they told me that breakfast was over when it was supposed to end at 10:30, but since I was trying to eat less, it wasn't a problem for me. The hotel is in a lovely location, but the staff is a horror. When we arrived we were told that we couldn't park at the parking lot on 11.30 because check-in began at 14.00 00, but we saw that there were at least three spaces. On booking, the hotel was fully booked, while there were four available rooms. While on Sunday, the lyrics were so crowded that we drove for 1 hour without finding a parking spot. Since the room was small and very warm, the dated, musty, and loud air made it a bit better. When we were leaving, they advised us to pay a tax of 9 euros in cash, as they claimed it was on the voucher, whereas it wasnt. When the staff did not even listen or try to understand, but they began to talk louder and louder we should be quiet. In conclusion, there will be more hotels in this lovely area, so pick one of those.4.6/519 Jul 2022

Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower was just separated by a curtain so the whole bathroom floor could get wet. We were able to do it, but I would not have wanted to deal with it more than one night. Breakfast was provided and was nicely presented. A bit limited but enough to eat before going out.
