From the warm welcome when you first arrived to the comfortable room and lovely log fire in the cozy lounge, Elgin Country Lodge is a wonderful home away from home. It is also conveniently situated to explore and enjoy all that the beautiful Elgin Valley has to offer. Such as Charles Fox' sublime bubbly and a very memorable meal at the melting pot thanks to our wonderful waiter. Alan and Mary are a great team that is willing to go above and beyond.

We recently spent the night at the Edinburgh Country Lodge. I need to thank Alan the manager for making our stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent accommodation, setting, and breakfast. Alan is a fantastic host. We will be back.

Alan is a warm and friendly host. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a wonderful stay from the first telephonic conversation. Our family had a delicious breakfast with Alan coming over to chat! Bob is on an apple farm in a beautiful peaceful place. Highly commendable and will return. Thank you, Alan Ex.

I'm staying here for 1 night because I'm shooting a wedding nearby. However, Alan was extremely accommodating, letting me drop off my baggage and check in very early, and I got the best sleep after a hard day of shooting the bridal party until late! We talked about a lot of topics during breakfast before heading back to Cape Town. The room is clean and everything is taken care of.
