The property is excellent and well maintained throughout. The staff cannot be nicer and were a joy to be around. Heated floors in the bathroom are just one of the smaller fine touches. Small but enough selection for breakfast.

Wow, where do I begin? This stunning, intimate property in the heart of Franschhoek is absolutely perfect for couples! The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. The food and beverage, on point. Although we had some noisy neighbors on our first night (not the hotel’s fault, so no complaints there), we slept wonderfully. The pillows are heavenly, the slippers luxuriously soft, and the attention to detail in celebrating special occasions is truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team – we can’t wait to return next year! L&N x

A fabulous place. The service is impeccable, the property immaculate and the rooms are luxurious. We loved the staff - nothing is too much for them. The breakfast in the morning is delicious, made to order. A short walk to restaurants, shops and the wine train (a must). Cannot say enough good things about this place! Pictures don’t do it justice. Nestled in the mountains with beautiful views abound.

We fell in love with Leeu House. The staff were so friendly and so helpful - preempting our needs before we even asked. Going above and beyond to help us with reservations (including a last minute request to help us find somewhere to watch the sunset!). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, as are the rooms. Feels like a little sanctuary but still walking distance from all the best restaurants, galleries and the wine tram. Highly highly recommend. Only thing is we wish the pool was heated!

Attentiveness of staff and cleanliness of the property. A beautiful little gem in a beautiful valley with an excellent location Within Franschhoek. Missing it already and would definitely recommend a stay if you’re in the area .

Absolutely gorgeous property! I stayed here with a couple of friends and it was amazing. The location is perfect, you are able to walk about the town, and visit wonderful restaurants, shops and galleries. The rooms are super clean and spacious. But the staff were the highlight of the stay...they could not have been more helpful and pleasant! They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed to have the best visit possible. I highly recommend the Leeu House. You won't regret it!

The Leeu house was an experience to remember. Extremely helpful and hospitable staff, beautiful rooms, and thoughtful touches like wine in the room, tasty breakfast (cold or hot) and a “honesty bar” in the evenings. Centrally located as well. Highly recommend!

Exceptional stay. The staff were so accommodating. Very helpful consierge. You can enjoy free wine tasting at Leeu Estate which was excellent. Staff were so helpful when I broke my leg while on the trip. Can’t rate highly enough!
