What can I say other than I would love to return year after year to this place. From the staff who greeted us to the ranger and tracker who accompanied us in open Land Rovers on our small group safaris, every single person gave us care, attention and made us feel so very welcome. We saw amazing wildlife (6 of the Magnificent Seven), and even did some exciting off-roading in pursuit of a glimpse of the rarely seen African wild dogs who were running in a pack. Honestly, I could have driven all day rather than just the inclusive morning and evening safaris. The ranger and tracker who were dedicated to us during our stay were incredibly knowledgeable, and I realised they put their lives at risk every day in order to ensure that they track and spot animals for us - even if it means going into the bush by foot to follow trails. The hotel provides a printed morning "newsletter" covering the news we may have missed (no TV anywhere in the lodge, yay! But lots of free wifi). It's how we found out Hugh Hefner died. They also leave a nightly African folktale by your bedside when they turn down the bed in the evening. The rangers double up as bartenders and dinner hosts by night and the chefs personally tailored a menu for another guest who was a fussy eater. The hotel is also focused on ecology and sustainability, although I would have like to know more about how they responsibly source and heat water and electricity. And the best for last: You can view wildlife from your private loo!

We had a fantastic stay at Lukimbi. The fact that there are no other nearby lodges makes you feel like you're in a wilderness. Driving on their ask hectare concession means you can't see other vehicles and we had to find out the animals. Lions, leopards, rhinos and many others were being seen close by. There was no shortage of sightings. The morning walking safari was also fantastic. Our ranger Julian and Tracker Herbert were fantastic companions, with excellent knowledge of animals, plants, and birds. The accommodations were excellent, and the food was the best we had on our Africa trip. highly advised.

We had our honeymoon here with my hubby. We had a great time! It is a work holiday. Having a private game drive and tracker to help you see animals every day made for long days, and we were quite exhausted at the end of the trip because of early mornings and late nights. The personnel and service were some of the best I've ever encountered. It is a little expensive in our opinion, but we did enjoy visiting Ruger National Park in a unique way. We were both traveling in our cars on our own. Would suggest this location to others for special occasions.

I cannot tell you enough good things about Luk Nimbe Safari Lodge. The staff at the lodge were extremely pleasant, accommodating, and kind. Each trip through the savannah was a different experience. The rooms were large and comfy.

The whole trip in South Africa was truly unforgettable for my partner and me because we spent four nights in Lukimbi this Christmas. The wonderful employees at Lukimbi exceeded all of our hopes and exceeded them. If you enjoy that, houses rooms are excellent and have incredible privacy. We enjoyed the pool most of our relaxation on drives and bush walks during our stay when it was in excellent condition, and any temperatures could reach anything. At Lukimbi, the service is high, and the personnel is incredibly friendly. Our dinners, which had an opener grill buffet, were our favorite days, and the food is of excellent quality. But how are the journeys? We enjoyed our trips to great lengths, and Julian's wisdom made it even more delightful. It doesn't really matter who ranger you'll meet, everyone we encountered was knowledgeable and welcoming. Reserve this lodge immediately because you will have a wonderful time, take lovely pictures, and most importantly, have fond memories that last a lifetime.
