Guests should arrive at the East Gate of Welgevonden Game Reserve by 1:30 PM for pickup. The final 8 kilometers of road are unpaved and require a 4x4 vehicle or a vehicle with high ground clearance. Guests must leave their vehicle at the gate, where a ranger will provide transportation to the lodge. Additional fees apply for pickups outside the scheduled pickup time.
