This location was ideal! The views were breathtaking, and although the station was a little uphill walk away, the buses were convenient if you werent too tired for the walk. The kitchen and room were adequate, perfect for unwinding after sweltering days of exploration. If i were to return to Grindelwald, ill undoubtedly stay here again. We were fortunate to see this town even though it was sunny, cloudy, or snowing. I will always remember this visit!.

The owner was really friendly. We stayed on the 5th floor with a great view of the valley and mountains. The room has everything you need including utensils, including microwave oven, which is very useful for heating up food from nearby coop supermarket. Parking is also free and easy. Will definitely return!.

My husband and i had a great time staying here. The rooms are large and clean, the view is amazing, and come with extras like tv, microwave, bathroom supplies and tea. Its quiet and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is delicious every morning. People who work here are very friendly. One gentleman even drove us in his car to the train station when we were leaving just out of kindness. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Basic hotel. It says 400 meters from the train station, but note that it is an uphill slope. Difficult with your luggage. The hotel does provide pickup and dropoff without charge, so let the hotel know your arrival time. Breakfast was basic, however i guess Swiss standards for a 3 star are different from those in south africa where there is more variety.

This place is highly recommended! Its a fantastic room! I heartily endorse this location. We didnt receive i suppose they should give you bourbon tickets, and we never saw receptionists. Selfcheckin is available. The rooms are spotless, the kitchen is separate from the childrens room, there is an amazing balcony view. Everything is about ten minutes walk away, but thats how you get the best views. If you are walking there, dont listen to map quest because the parking lot is right before that road. It is hidden if you go there for eaves, yet you should be aware that it is directly outside the road when you enter.

We adore this hotel! This location is tucked away from the bustle of grindelwald, making it quite convenient and peaceful because it is only a 10minute walk from town. Peter, the manager, is always happy with his kindness and assistance. We always leave here satisfied because we are so pleased with our stay. The rooms are spacious and wellequipped, and they are spotless. With breathtaking views, we adorn this place.

The room was equipped with a kitchenette and the hotel provided parking at the front door. The view was breathtaking and there was no contact. It was incredibly relaxing. I will be back. Close to the city center.

This place is relatively close to public transportation, and there are some hiking trails. The room has a complete kitchenette and is roomy. We encountered no staff during our stay. Everything must be done online. Amazing view, complete with stifling kitchenettes.

We had a very good view room with balcony. Had supper on the balcony overlooking the red mountain opposite. The service is good. They had transportation to and from the train station on checkin and checkout which was great when you spoke english well.

My family and i had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The views were absolutely stunning. There was also savoring tavern right next to our room because we were staying on the fifth floor. All of the rooms were reasonably spacious and clean. During our trip, the staff provided rides to and from the train station, which made for incredibly friendly and helpful. If we get the chance, we will most definitely return here!.

The location is a bit far from grindelwald station, so it took quite ages to bring your luggage uphill to the place. However, the room is large and spacious with an amazing view. There are some insects in the rooms, but thats not causing any problems. The place is mostly selfservice.

This hotel and location are truly remarkable. The rooms are exceptionally pleasant, and the mini kitchen is flawlessly executed. It was truly one of the best weeks weve ever had.

We usually rent ski vacation rentals here. The atmosphere is calm and the place is quiet, with access to all ski lifts within walking distance. Clean and comfortable rooms are worth the price you spend. I would recommend it to any group or family visiting the jungfrau region.

The location is 7 minutes walk from the town. The staff is friendly and helpful. Views are breathtaking. Prices are affordable. Rooms spacious. Breakfast is simple but adequate to 3 stars. Parking is very convenient. Downside a few minor renovations and cosmetic repairs are required.

Clean room with the most amazing views. It took 10 minutes uphill walk with our bags to get there because the bus was very rare. But totally worth it! There is also a cute cat that visits our balcony every night.

On the way to the lodge, you can find a cheese shop and lovely chalets. The grindelwald station is about 15 minutes away by bus or on foot from the accommodation, but it doesnt feel far away. You can see the lovely view of the north wall of eiger. Although the amenities are dated and the kitchenette is too small for preparing large meals, i had no trouble using them for three days. Both the room and terrace are sufficiently spacious.

The receptionist was helpful and gave us some tips about the local area and commute. She also gave me two free tickets for unlimited use of the nearby bus during my stay. The staff were kind and very helpful with our early breakfast requests because we had to check out quite early on the last day. We booked here because our previous place canceled our reservation very quickly and there were rooms available in this hotel which is close to the train station. Its an uphill walk so be prepared. On the 4th floor, we were given a large corner room. From the balcony to mountains, you can see the priceless view. See the picture below. Although the room itself looked old, everything in the space and the decentsized bathroom worked and was neat and tidy. There was he basic breakfast buffet included in his package which was good. Free wifi is available with good coverage in most areas of hotels and rooms.
