Very good value and welcome retreat and place to rest during a grueling cycling tour of northern Thailand. clean room and basic shared bathroom I had to myself.

It is very difficult to find information about hiking and DOI Chiang Do, and our hosts in Chiang Mai were hardly able to assist. We booked here and contacted Koko to explain how we would like to hike the next day, and he emailed photos of our passports to him, promising to go and obtain park tickets as we arrived too late to go on our own. When we got there, Koko explained how we would get to the park and that he had arranged for a non Englishspeaking guide also this is required, basically everything was planned for us! We booked one of the ac rooms, which was very clean and comfortable, and great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The grounds were quiet, breakfast was basic but adequate, and their cat was sweet. I heartily suggest staying here for your Chiang Do adventure or calling Koko if you need any help arranging your visit, if he is up the mountain at the time he will call you back.

It is only a stone's throw from the main street via bicycle. This is a very nice and convenient retreat and an oasis to rest after a demanding cycling tour in Northern Thailand. It has a clean room and a basic communal bathroom that I had to myself. Friendly and easy-going location with free bananas and hot coffee. They have included breakfast, toast, bananas, coffee, and more al fresco.

We are very recommended if you decide to travel to Chiang Do, or give Koko a call if you need help arranging your visit. If he is up the mountain at the time, he will call you back. Information about hiking doi chiang do is extremely hard to find, and our chiang mai hosts were unable to assist. We booked here and called Koko to tell him how we would like to hike the next day, and he sent us a letter with photos of our passports stating that we were arriving too late to go on ourselves, and he also told us to come to the park and that he had arranged for a nonEnglishspeaking guide as well, which is required. Then, when we arrived, Koko explained how we would get to the park, plus that he had arranged a nonEnglishspeaking guide, which is required, basically everything had been arranged for us! The AC room we reserved was very clean, cozy, and ideal for unwinding after a long day on the trail. The grounds were peaceful, breakfast was basic yet adequate, and their cat was sweet.
