Wonderful experience!! Very relaxing getaway from Phoenix! We were there Tuesday and Wednesday. The restaurant there was only open Wednesday thru Sunday but there was an excellent restaurant just down the road called Double D Ranch.. Will definitely be going back to Kohl's Ranch!!

We’ve stayed here seven times over the past 1.5 years and it’s always a great experience. Don’t miss out on trying the Saloon which is attached to the restaurant and adjacent to the pool. A special shout out to the girls (Liz, Hailey and Brittney) that always make the Saloon one of the best amenities of the Resort.

This place is incredibly beautiful. The staff is exceptional. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on a little romantic stay-cation. I did not want to leave. The location and scenery is gorgeous.

This is not the first time I have stayed at the Kohl's Ranch Lodge, and I still love it! I was able to charge my electric car overnight (slow charge, and only one charger but it was complimentary to the guests). The lodge room was spacious, well equipped with a kitchenette, and met my needs for an overnight rest before heading to Show Low the next day. The staff are lovely, truly welcoming. Now if I can only stay longer, I can really enjoy all the amenities properly! If you are heading to the high country from Phoenix, and want to break up your journey, this spot helps you appreciate the nature you are surrounded by. I will be back, so save me a spot!

A credit card for a USD 200 security deposit and a daily USD 68.04 per room plus tax resort fee will also be required (cash is not an acceptable form of deposit.)
A refundable security deposit of USD 200 is required at check-in to cover any charges or damages incurred during the stay.
At time of check-in, a valid government-issued photo identification is required and must match the guest name under which the reservation was made.
The credit card used to book the reservation must be presented at the time of check-in. The name on the reservation also must match the name of the guest checking in. If the guest is unable to provide the credit card for verification, a credit card authorization form must be sent to the resort by the cardholder prior to check-in. Failure to provide valid payment may result in the cancellation of the reservation. Any advance deposit previously collected on the credit card used to book the reservation will be refunded to the card on file and payment will be obtained on the credit card presented by the guest at check-in.Please note: The resort does not offer daily maid service. For weekly stays the resort will provide 1 mid-week cleaning.
The minimum age for check-in is 18 years of age.
During this time of year, the area surrounding the resort is prone to increased fire danger, which has prompted fire officials to implement fire restrictions for the Tonto National forest. Currently the resort is under fire restrictions. Do not use a fire. Smoking is prohibited except within an enclosed vehicle. Violators will be subjected to an individual fine USD 5,000. Please contact the property for more details.
RESTAURANT UPDATE: The Zane Grey restaurant will be closed Monday and Tuesday. New operating hours will be: 11 AM - 8 PM.
