We had a great time. I found this spot unexpectedly when I wanted to have a weekend at the River. We were so surprised at how much fun we had. We loved the tents and the pool. We will be visiting again!!!

I’ve stayed at Surrey Resort twice now and each time has been an exceptional stay. The location is right outside of downtown and walkable so you can just leave your car parked during your stay. Parking is easy with no issue finding a spot. Check in is easy while being informative as you’re staying in a tent and not a room in typical hotel. The staff walked me to my tent to make sure I knew where I was staying which was helpful. The layout is easy to remember and navigate. The tent is more than just a tent. There’s flooring and you can stand easily. There’s a bed (or beds depending on which tent you choose.) The details are thought out. When I stepped into the tent I found a flashlight provided which came in handy since I didn’t bring my own. There’s electricity which is great to have while you’re camping. Gym, pool and hot tub are a huge plus. Surrey Resort makes camping easy and fun. Glamping is taken to the maximum level here. The only quirky experience during my most recent stay was almost walking right into a skunk, but that was my fault because I wasn’t using a flashlight while walking in the dark to my tent. Also a skunk briefly came into my tent, but that was also my fault because I did not properly close my tent door. The skunk heard me and immediately exited the tent, though and did not come any further once it realized I was present. So the two incidents are at no fault to Surrey Resort, just nature and me being naive to being outdoors! I will stay again.

Walking distance to downtown Guerneville, with adequate amount of restaurants, vintage stores. There is a Safeway nearby and bought our food from their deli and ate by our tent under the stars. Amazing experience without the hassle of bringing your own camping gears. It’s a bit chilly day and the pool was a bit cold for me but there were people enjoying it. The gym is quite spacious with good amount of equipment. There is also a hot tub near the gym/ pool area. There were 6 toilets and 3 has showers. It was a cold night, had to bundle up but they provided electric blankets which provided adequate warmth while in bed. There are plenty of electric sockets inside tent as well.Overall, a great place to stay for a short getaway. It’s also a short distance to Armstrong Redwoods Natural Reserve.

My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again.

This was GLAMPING at its best. So fun, great pool, campfire, and tents. The staff was exceptional. Bring your own pillow, would be the only thing I would change.

Our stay at Surrey was delightful! We were welcomed warmly and immediately felt comfortable and cared for. Bailey arranged for us to switch tents graciously and with ease. Oli was especially kind and treated us to a delicious peanut butter cookie from the cafe. She later brought us a sample of an appetizer from a recipe that she was trying and it was such a treat! We luxuriated in the hot tub and enjoyed a fire in our fire pit. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Its glamping at its finest. This place isnt a hotel, ots exactly what it describes. The town is a amazing, fun little town with cool vibe.its totally cool if you wanna go camping but sleep in a bed and have wifi and power, fan, refrigerator ect. Pool and cabanas are sweet, gym is top notch fully stocked. Its a great stay
