Amenities were not explained at check in. Pool, tennis courts not mentioned. Restaurants not mentioned. Surely the staff could do a better job of selling the place? Ice cram server could not get order correct….root beer float! duh! It’s not hard. Otherwise, maintanance ongoing. One women fell ina hole that wasn’t clearly marked. Pool was great. Large and deep. Restaurant decent for dinner and breakfast.

When we arrived the Ranch the reception staff informed us we had been upgraded to a lodge at no extra cost. Brilliant the room was clean with a sitting room. Nice bathroom with a large shower room. Two televisions and two queen size beds. We stayed 3 nights and visited the restaurant on all of them. Food was nice and the staff really friendly. Considering the location the prices were reasonable $25 for a burger and $10 for a beer both quality though. Great location to visit Death valley park. In the late afternoon we went for a swim in the pool, very clean and towels provided. Be prepared for the compulsory tip which is suggested at the bottom of each credit card transaction when paying for a meal or hospitality service which we from the UK are not used to. They also have a on site store and ice cream parlour which was good. Loved our stay at the Ranch and would recommend it if visiting Death Valley.

We spent one night in Death Valley and this was definitely the best of the options that we saw. It was really a desert oasis. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helped with a late checkout that was complementary. There were beautiful gardens, a pool, sporting options, and variety of restaurants. There was even an interesting little museum and the USPS Death Valley post office on site. I would definitely stay there again - but maybe in the winter months, it was 119°F when we checked in!!

Loved our stay in the Ranch, it was brilliant. Our room was lovely and the staff were great. We had an excellent meal in the Last Kind Words Saloon and then a short walk to the Ice Cream Shoppe where we had lovely ice cream whilst it was 48degrees C outside. Don’t worry about the heat…. the aircon everywhere took care of it

The property was in a great location for Death Valley. You like eating at the restaurant by the golf course. . We like that it had a nice quiet patio overlooking the Golf Course with lots of palm trees. And the sunsets were beautiful there. Also enjoy the pool and that it was open late at night. It had warm weather so we enjoyed the nice weather at night at the pool.

We arrived a bit early for normal checkin and were told are room was ready.. a Very pleasant surprise after a long warm drive Checkin was quick and directions to the room as well as all the different restaurants stores were given Our room was clean and we were within a very short walking distance to the pool and restaurants We were there for two night and on the first night my husband had a bit of a medical accident that we were able to handle on our own In checking out today I mentioned it to DORIANA And what Gem she is💕 She immediately took it upon herself to give us a discount on our stay Completely unexpected !!!! The only reason I mentioned it was so the problem could be fixed and not cause anyone else harm The kindness DORIANA showed to us today will not be forgotten💕 Thank you so very much!!!
