We will stay here again. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were very pleased with our decision. Our room number 6 was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed in a central location, parking lots and great view of the town. If you needed cooking facilities, there was a small area close to our room with a microwave oven. The walk into town and the harbor was only 10 minutes.

The rooms at Battery Point Manor are very spacious, well placed and have appropriate furnishings the largest room weve ever stayed in. The manor is outdated and with aging issues, but the new owners are doing maintenance. The position is great, with a great hotel and delicious food within 100 meters and several restaurants and a wonderful bakery within a short walk. Walking to Constitution Dock takes about 15 minutes. Leanne manages the manor and is a bonus to the owners. Leanne is very friendly and went out of her way to make our stay memorable.

The service is excellent and the view from the shared roof is wonderful. We were in the cheapest room, which was simple but clean and had everything we needed. The best thing about it is the location. Battery Point is a great place to walk around. You can take a different route each time you walk to Salamanca or Cod, and there are lots of lovely old houses and atmospheric streets.

We arrived too late, but the manager was very helpful. Due to rising damp, our room was pretty much occupied. The smell was unbearable and the windows and doors didn't close properly due to swelling. Lovely old building in a beautiful setting, but this particular room should not be rented out. We had to leave by early in the morning to relocate to a different hotel.

Our room was big and had a view of the river. The price was great given the location and quality of the room. Needless to say it was very clean and well appointed and the manager was very helpful. The toilet was separate from the bathroom and there was a walk-in wardrobe. The building has old world elegance and is charming! There is a microwave in a common area for guest use.
