This is my first experience to book by phone 3 days before arrival. The owner manager was very friendly and gave us a fantastic price because I called him directly. The day before I arrived I had to cancel because I needed to get back home to change specialists appointments.

The staff was friendly and the room was spotless. After staying here for four nights and having to work for three full days, this place has the best internet speed. My og is usually useless when I'm on the road, but this is not the place to be. They had a router in the room and even a Chromecast.

The best place to stay in murwullimbah is this one. It isn't flashy compared to what you would find on the coast in a tourist hotspot, but it's a great little country motel. The owners are really friendly and communicate before to make sure everything is ready for your stay and follow up afterwards to make sure everything was okay. We booked direct with the hotel through their website which was simple and straight forward. I prefer to book directly with hotels so they don't have to pay a booking fee or commission on online sites. When I checked out they gave me a booking fee rebate, which greatly reduced the price. The Queen room we stayed in included free wifi, chromecast on the to, a small fridge, a kettle, and a microwave. It was clean and comfortable, and looked like it had been updated in the past few years. The hotel is on an old highway, but there is not much traffic at night and there is no noise. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend it. It is clearly an older motel, but we found it to be very comfortable. Very large room, good internet, and wifi. The owner couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and allowed us to use the freezer for our freezer bricks, which we needed for camping the next day. A little out of the way from cod and restaurants etc. for walking, but only a few minutes drive.
