This was the original pub with no beer that Slim Dusty sang about, also the owner of the establishment Glenn meet us out front, we arrive late and had not had dinner and they allowed us to order from the resturant and have a meal. The waitress was also very helpful and friendly

Stayed one night for work and found a beautifully clean room, excellent service from staff and had a delicious lunch. It is an older hotel which has been renovated nicely and the price was excellent. I stayed in a balcony room which did have traffic noise (as I was advised of before hand and asked if this was ok - and it did not bother me at all) but if you are a light sleeper I would suggest asking for a room not on the balcony.

Obviously an older building, seen a lot of hard knocks, it did the job for a relatively clean space to sleepy, before driving on to the next destination, l was advised not to use off street parking due to safety concerns as limited lighting and no cameras, apparently people loiter around there, (that isn’t then venues fault for behaviour of people in society these days. It was good l was made aware of it rather than learning the hard way. Wholes in the ceiling, were a little concerning and dirty mouldy looking. Pillowed were either, lumpy, or real hard. However the linen, carpet, lots of soaps and shampoos ect and the tea and coffee and biscuit facilities were well stocked however, the kettle looked like, it either had been burnt out or mouldy. Apart from that would l stay again. I would for the purpose of a place to sleep, while travelling as a stopover.

Building not maintained or cleaned. The stairs to the first floor are pathetic. Carpet in the room is sooo dirty and old. Noise and smoke from the bar. The bedroom door leads to the hallway but didn’t close. The bedroom window leads to a meeting room???? And curtain doesn’t close properly! Old used tissues, medication bottle and toothbrush in the nightstand drawers!

My room was very clean and I felt safe. The hotel is currently being Reno'd and once done it will be lovely. I highly recommend the Pork Belly bites on the menu - the food was fantastic. Very happy - I will return.

Hotellet fyllde sin funktion, en plats att sova för natten. Vi fick ett stort rum med två sovrum, ett med dubbelsäng och ett med tre enkelsängar, det var utmärkt. Hade inte gjort nåt med lite ny färg och fix men det funkade bra.
