The entire experience, from checkin to checkout, was wonderful, especially for the duty manager, who always had a wicked sense of humor. They served good food, cold beer, nice, clean rooms, and the pub itself is a superb example of an old country pub. What more could you ask for? Next week I will be back for a weekend getaway. I cannot speak more highly enough of it. The pub is more than a hundred years old, has a nice beer garden, and is wellkept. It is right next to Woolworths and on the main road, a block from the center.

I was here on a peaceful Wednesday night. The personnel was pleasant and welcoming. The menu was a little out of date and costly. We chose pub favorites, chicken parm and chicken schnitzel with chips and salad on the side. We were given the meals very promptly. It was just wet lettuce and the salad would have preferred not to be on the plate. Both dishes were delicious and well-cooked. After eating, we chose the sports bar that is separate from the main restaurant. It was reasonably priced with a surprisingly good cocktail menu. We ended the night with a cheeky slap on the ponies. Didn't leave well, but I'm hoping the lady next to us is having a good time.

Two nights a week, we ate here. The meal was delicious and served with large portions. The food came out quickly. The employees were pleasant. The lights in the outside area were amazing. Unfortunately, it rained. We had a nice meal named funky chicken and the special Barry Monday fish and chips. The fish and chips were very large. I was served 2 fish, chips, and salad. It was fantastic that the oil didn't have a foul odor.
