On arrival, we were greeted warmly, and nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom was well appointed. Beautiful views from the balcony. The pool and gardens are very pleasant. The location is strategic for village amenities. Thank you for the wonderful experience we had during our stay.

If you're in the area, stop in. They served a tasty schnitzel and opened the kitchen for us for a late lunch. This place has a great atmosphere and is not too expensive. Although we had been staying somewhere else, we felt like hotel visitors.

We can stroll for a long time in this lovely village and not regret it if we are not there. Elisabeth the owner of the hotel who helped us with everything was very nice. She even arranged a taxi for us to pick up our group when we missed the last cable car on our way up the mountain. This hotel has a great location in this lovely village, and guests can enjoy incredible mountain views from the terrace and front balconies. Even my side bedroom on the ground floor had a view of the closest peak above the lovely church steeple. There are many options of food with a buffet breakfast to keep you up for the day, nice rooms, and a pool with a sauna, steam room, and other amenities. The local bus station is nearby, and both the cable car and the scuba train station are about a 10-minute walk away.

The donnerhof hotel served as a base for a weeks hiking vacation in the scuba valley. Elisabeth and her staff worked hard to make our stay very pleasant. The chalkboard dishes were delicious and filling. We chose the larger rooms facing the valley and found them to be spacious and comfortable. Elisabeth was very helpful in giving advice on how to get to the trailhead and finding out which trails were open. The laundry service was good value and an excellent benefit.

The receptionist is a kind and helpful woman. The room is spacious and perfect. The breakfast buffet is the best and is included in the room price of 130 for two. But the restaurant was all a bit subpar with some nasty decorations.
