I have probably never had better value for money. Friendly, helpful and well dressed staff. Newspaper slid under the door every morning. Better than expected breakfast. Sort of colonial style hotel only few kilometers away from the sights of old Dhaka. I would recommend anyone to stay there.

They will treat you like a king or queen at Victory! Staff is super nice and attentive. The hotel is centrally located and has a great restaurant with delicious buffets. They can also arrange airport drop off and pick up

I always recommend staying in a hotel that is traveling in Bangladesh. It is a threestar hotel. Hotel victory is a good price room, clean and close to old shaka.

For a few days, I stayed at Hotel Victor, and it was fairly decent for the price, though nothing particularly stunning. The public spaces are tastefully designed, but the halls with the rooms, and the rooms themselves, are fairly plain. The traffic noise was adequate but not especially muted by the windows, and it might have been only due to my back room, which would likely be louder, and was not facing the main street. Breakfast was good, but I wish the hours were a bit later. Overall, there is nothing to complain about, the place is solid and reasonably priced. You wont be impressed or anything either.

Overall, there isn't much to complain about, the place is solid and affordable. But nothing extraordinary or positive is likely to occur. I spent a couple of days in hotel victory, and I thought it was reasonably priced for the money, although nothing particularly outstanding. Although the hallways with the rooms and the rooms themselves are relatively unrefined, the public areas are tastefully designed. The windows may have reduced traffic noise, but it was just because I was in a backroom, not facing the main road, which would probably be louder. Breakfast was adequate, but I wish the hours had been a little later.

I always advise staying in a hotel if you are visiting Bangladesh. The room in Hotel Victory is clean and convenient to the old Shaka. They are very good and friendly. It is a three-star hotel.

What more could you want from a hotel? Ask the hotel staff to write the address and location on one of their cards so a rickshaw driver can find his way back there. Clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly staff and nice breakfast.

This was my first trip to Shaka. I was traveling with one of my buddies, who had previously stayed here on his business vacations. It took over 30 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport than my flight time from Kolkata to Shaka. It was almost 1 hour due to the notorious shaka traffic. Right on the main road and next to the main office of the opposition political party. There are many restaurants and markets throughout the hotel. When I checked in, I was told that the rooms are being renovated and that one of the newly renovated rooms was given to me. The one-room service offered was a flat-screen with cable-connected TV, a small refrigerator, and a chair. Personally, I thought the space was excessively priced. The restroom and room were tidy and roomy. With hot and cold shower water available, water pressure was excellent. The towels were not of very high quality. Only on day 1, a bottle of water was offered. Breakfast was included in the room fee. I enjoyed the breakfast and was impressed by the freshly made juices being served. Breakfast consisted of mostly local foods and consisted of about 10 dishes. The rooms didn't have safety boxes, but there was a locker in the front desk area. Wi-Fi was terrible, only worked on day 1, was unable to connect on the second day, and made me complain he was never fixed. Overall

This was my first time visiting Shakaka. I was traveling with one of my friends, who had previously stayed in this hotel on business trips. It took me nearly 30 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport than my flight from Kolkata to Sharka. Located on a major street and next to the opposition political party's main office. In and around the hotel, there are several restaurants and markets. When I checked in, I was informed that the rooms were being renovated and I was given one of the newly renovated rooms. A flat-screen TV with cable connection, a small refrigerator, and a chair were all provided. The shower offered hot and cold water pressure was good. The towels provided were not very high quality. The complimentary breakfast was provided in the room rate. I liked the breakfast and was impressed with the freshly prepared juices being served. Breakfast consisted of primarily local food and a spread of around 10 dishes. Rooms did not have safety boxes, but a locker was available at the reception. Wi-Fi was terrible, only working on day one was unable to connect on the second day, and caused many people to complain, it was never resolved. Apart from a few drawbacks, I would say, I had a pleasant two night visit and could recommend it to others.

We were lucky to get a clean room, comfortable, peaceful, friendly staff and a tasty breakfast, what more could you ask for from a hotel? Get the hotel staff to write the address and location on their card so a rickshaw driver can find his way back there.

This hotel is in good condition. Amenities are good, located in prime location. Complimentary breakfast is awesome. Foods are delicious. But the surrounding sound polution is a big disturbance. One of the political party office is very near by and always loud miking is very painful to stay in the room. Also, I was very wondering and surprised me not to allow any female guest in the room. Other than that it's a good place to stay.

It’s midrange and well positioned for the river and old Dhaka. The staff are lovely and helpful. Good breakfast, mega cheap and great laundry. The walls in my room could do with a paint. Absolutely fine.

I stayed at Hotel Victory for a couple days, and found it pretty decent for the price, though nothing especially amazing. The public areas are nicely appointed, but the halls with the rooms, and the rooms themselves, are quite plain. The traffic noise was ok but not especially quieted by the windows, and that may have been only because I was in a back room, not facing the main street which would probably be louder. Breakfast was decent but I wish the hours for it ran a little later. Overall, there's nothing specific to complain about, the place is pretty solid and not expensive. But you won't be impressed or anything either.
