Lovely old hotel conveniently located to all the sights of Antwerp, but in a mostly residential area that is quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast, friendly staff, very relaxed environment. The building is beautiful, but be aware that you’ll need to climb plenty of stairs; if that’s a problem, choose a more modern hotel with an elevator! I enjoyed my night here and would stay here again if I return to Antwerp. My room was basic, but I slept well, and that’s what really matters at a hotel.

Très bon séjour ! Rien à dire, le personnel était très gentil et a l’écoute de nos besoins, la chambre était propre et l’hôtel est bien placé à 20 minutes à pieds du centre ville ! Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, merci pour cet accueil !

I really enjoyed my time at Hotel Rubenshof. I found all members of staff very helpful and professional. In a way it was like being at home. I had a very good time and I fell in love with the breakfast room! I wish I could have taken it home with me. I did lots of walking but it was all very worthwhile and I would recommend this hotel to people who like me were on a budget but still wanted to have their own space. Thank you.

Het is een hotel met heel veel bouwkundige stijlkenmerken.hoge plafonds met veel versiering, wij hadden kamer 16, een familiekamer met 5 slaapplaatsen.3 1-persoonsbefden in de "voorkamer" en een 2-persoonsbed in de "kamer-en-suite". Bij een volgend bezoek aan Antwerpen heeft dit hotel voor ons een streepje voor

Mooi hotel, erg fijn ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Ik had een van de kleinste kamers maar was prima. Geen overbodige luxe maar eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt en daarbij een prettige sfeer en goede service

Het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk. Ik voelde me echt welkom. Bij het ontbijt ook keurig geholpen door een lieve, zorgzame en nette dame. Het hotel scoort op vriendelijkheid een dikke 10!

De entree van het hotel is mooi en authentiek.Het is een voornaam herenhuis waar ooit een kardinaal gewoond heeft. Karakteristiek en met een persoonlijke sfeer. Wij hadden 2 kamers aan de straatkant en die zijn best groot met nieuwe bedden. De badkamers waren opvallend groot. De ramen zijn goed geisoleerd! Prima keuze!

Oude stijl, goede bedden. Familiekamer bestond uit twee delen. Dit is op de foto’s niet zichtbaar, maar echt een groot pluspunt. Aan een drukke weg, maar totaal geen last ervan gehad. Vloerbedekking in de wc vonden wij niet zo fris.

Our stay here was unfortunately not the best. We only stayed two nights and this hotel charged us twice. Once online to book it($280), then upon arrival we had a lady who we later found out did not work there charge us another entire two night stay but said it was under a “deposit”($240) which would be normal however we were also later informed by the host that this hotel does not ask for deposits. After we tried to contact this hotel several times and was given the run around they completely ghosted us now after a month of trying to get the refund. So disappointed considering the stay itself was okay, the room was as described. I would not recommend travelers here as they scammed us entirely. I hope no one else goes through this.
