This place is cool, where you can relax in a hammock or enjoy delicious coffee on a terrace with views over the town. The owner of this hostel is very helpful and friendly.

We have been to hostel Serena twice and will be back in the future. Why? First of all, the owners, Bert and Maria Rene completely live up to their feel at home motto. We felt completely at home. Its a welcoming guesthouse with cooking facilities and anything else needed, as well as strong internet connection, which is unusual in Samaipata. If you are up for it, the hostel is an excellent place to spend some days hanging out, taking in the scenery of Samaipata valley, or making friends with everyone nearby. Its ideal for family visits, but it is also ideal for backpackers. We are so thankful to have discovered this gem in this tailback village.

A beautiful place in the magical Samaipata with a magnificent view. We visited the hostel from Bert with family and friends and felt like at home. Thank you for a wonderful week and your kind hospitality. Good news now with wifi for easy internet access.

They are very nice hosts, you will feel warmly welcomed. They assist you in any way they organize your trips to Parquet National Bamboo. In addition, the breakfast was the best I've had in a hostel so far, with pancakes, fruits, scrambled eggs, and the same peanut butter. You really feel like on vacation. Thank you for everything, I will definitely stay there again!.

I've already visited hostel Serena twice with my family and recently made a third reservation! It's a fantastic location to stay, socialize with friends, or just relax and escape the stresses and noises of Santa Cruz! The house's atmosphere is incredibly hospitable, calm, and relaxing. Bert and Maria Rene, the hosts, are very pleasant and accommodating. There is also a shared kitchen where we can cook with our friends, and we enjoy the homemade bread and pancake breakfast. Now that wifi is available, the hotel is not only suitable for families or backpackers, but also for anyone who enjoys working remotely and enjoying a fantastic view of Samaipata!.
