Simple, clean, and great value! Just needed a clean place to eat, shower, and sleep. Reasonably priced and had everything you needed. Next to the highway but luckily the bedroom was in the back so noise was reduced. The room had everything I needed. I would stay here again!

It makes us extremely warm and welcoming, especially to the couples who manage this motel. Very clean, cozy, well-maintained and reasonably priced, we spent one night there. We got great internet connection, good sleep, and coffee in the morning, which was all we needed for our stay. I would stay at this motel again.

I will update this review on the availability of my deposit. At first, I was eager to write this review thinking I had discovered a fantastic little motel with spacious clean rooms, helpful staff, and an even better rate, but I was wrong. Check-in went smoothly, the woman was friendly and answered all of my questions. We were only given one physical key rather than cards, which was no big deal. As a friend unloaded the vehicle with us, a staff member came out to find that there was a third guest who hadn't been charged. She assured her he was merely helping unloading the bags, but she returned to the office. We were pleasantly surprised to discover its size in room 102, however the layout was a little odd. The restroom was off the back bedroom, so you had to pass by the bed to use, which could be inconvenient if someone was trying to sleep. The room had the usual amenities like a microwave, a coffee maker, and a full-size refrigerator, which was pleasant. It was clear that we would not be owing another night because it was less noticeable than anticipated. We tried our best to explain that we were walking to the office, but the staff refused to do so and said it would be quicker to pay the extra than to pack up the room, but they had nothing to do with us. I would definitely stay here again. The nice couple who own this motel have made renovations that made for a comfortable stay! They are very strict about check in time so don't expect to check in early! We learned our lesson! Anyway, two cozy Ikea chairs were set up in the living room in front of the hotel to give us lots of space to store your luggage. The bed is in a separate room with a door that can be closed. They have double panel windows which prevent you from hearing the traffic. The AC and wifi work very well. Nice bathroom, fridge, coffee maker.

A great stopover between vancouver and Calvary can be made at this little motel, located 8 am east of Salmon Arm. The units are simple, spotless, and reasonably priced. The manager and his family will do everything in their power to meet your requirements. It's a great location to explore the area and visit the historic Last Spike at Grigellachie if you're new to the Swapa Valley.
