I would strongly recommend this hotel. While traveling in Shanghai on business, I stayed at this hotel for four nights, and it was in a convenient location for all of our activities. My room was tall enough with a floor to avoid road noise, and from the front of the hotel, my perspective overlooking the enormous Madison Blue warlike complex. With the standard 65 channels and one English channel, the room was spotless and spacious, so I didn't spend much time in it. All I wanted to do was check emails and sleep. Two of my traveling companions had problems: one had bad internet connections and had to go to the lobby to get emails every morning at 5 am. When a driver arrived at 530 am to take me to the airport, it was very useful because he did not speak English, so we needed to verify that it was me who was going to transport me to the correct airport, Hongqiao, which was only 20 minutes away. Breakfast is provided on the third level and it was adequate, but the bacon strips had a very gamey flavor. On two nights, our group was mostly comprised of about twenty visitors. We received two of our dinners, which was served to us, including one of the neighborhood's favorite foods, shanghai hairy crab. Try the masculine version, because they are excellent. I do not know how much my hosts spent the hotel

The only positive things here are the excellent price and location. The bathroom is rusty and outdated, but it is clean enough. It turns out that the wifi in the room is unstable and sometimes there is a bad connection. The service was poor. I wanted to prolong my stay and keep the same room, but I was told that I could not do it at the front desk and had to book via the original booking site and change to the room the next day.

Thanks to my proximity to work, Ive visited a few times. I was able to choose this location because of the inexpensive corporate rate. A real money earner, you get what you pay for. The rooms are a little antiquated, but they are clean. Great view of the park in front. Ignore the breakfast, which is of very poor quality even for Chinese I guess.
